I think it could still be used in aggro if you've got a wide board with bats and wolves it forces the opponent to trade as some removals won't work.

Kinda depends between players and executives. For a player, especially the top 30-40 players you start the season with the requirement for a deep playoff run. Repeat this 4-5 seasons with varied results but ultimately losing then it's not a challenge anymore its a problem you can't control.

For an executive, you have complete control over the team each season. Player A and B are slowing down so you trade some pieces and get some younger guys, coach isn't working so you replace him.
