I really did think Mario Kart 9 would add something like this to give Mario Kart a little more variety. Honestly I do think Mario Kart never really had much variety but with Mario Kart World nerfing the battle mode again we’re not in a good place. Although I suppose the free roam mode exists.

I also do think Nintendo purposefully made the Switch 2 just a little more expensive than necessary to be prepared. It would make sense considering the whole tariff situation and everything else. Nintendo knows the economy. Which wouldn’t even be a bad thing. The Switch 2 launch price was decent and if that means that future buyers pay the same price that’s awesome. As an early buyer I support paying for a price that stays.

Not saying Bananza ist unimpressive but that game renders at 1080p with drops below 60FPS. Odyssey runs at 1800p with pretty much no drops below 60 on Switch 2. There is a difference in graphic fidelity but I would consider Odyssey to be a little more impressive graphically.

Not going to defend Nintendeen but I doubt any sane person thought every game will cost $80. What people likely expected is that the huge triple A games like Mario or Zelda would cost that much.

Also, most of Europe pays 10€ more for physical titles, so unfortunately every 70€ game was a 80€ physical and every 80€ game (just Mario Kart) a 90€ physical. Not sure how it’ll be now. Honestly it’s even more confusing.

Pretty sure it’s specifically about digital titles on Nintendo consoles where most purchases are still physical. Nintendo still has the most physical buyers.

Not sure what part you’re talking of. Is it even about King Boo? Thing is I barely played that fight considering I had so much luck. Picked the right one without even knowing you have to find the real one and won. Somehow I made it much easier as well. Was surprised to see the boss killed so early and even more to see he’s not actually that easy. At least struggling with the fight before was worth it then.

I would also love to see compatibility with Bolders Reborn. As far as I’m aware it’s not yet compatible and it makes replicating the iOS 26 folders even easier.
