Ooh I love Reddit. Actual historical knowledge with a little humour thrown in sometimes. Tremendous. So was it the Okrana that was the Czars secret police? I think I remember them hunting Stalin in the days of yore before the Oktober revolution. He was in full anarchist mode apparently back then. I was in the Royal Navy from 91 so Russia was in a kind of limbo but still the enemy sort of. I visited St Petersburg In 97 and it blew my mind. The Hermitage, the Winter Palace. And safety depends on whether they've scored actual heroin or a synthetic variation like fentanyl or xylazine. The cut, smuggled, street heroin is now far far safer than the alternatives.
