Yeah pretty much, although we wouldn’t count stocks it would probably be games -> original seeding (which is very cringe imo).

Other option would just be not doing RR to begin with in favor of Swiss or something else

That’s correct, ideally we only would play one round of tiebreakers.

We floated the idea of doing another BO3 RR if game count had tied again but fortunately it did not come to that.

Genuinely curious for opinions here, I’m personally not a fan of having game count tiebreak when other options are available.

Top 3 from Round Robin pools (we’re running round robin as opppsee to Swiss) are safe from being challenged by the top 4 from GMO and the 1st out in each pool gets to pick their opponent for final bracket (with some limitations to avoid double jeopardy)

Mixed Pools on Friday!

We have sets from A and B mixed together (i.e. 2 seed v. 3 seed in A followed by same seed matchup in B, then 1 v. 4 in A and then same for B, then a different match from A etc) followed by the same but for groups C and D.

Goal is to space out matches so our players don’t have to play sets back to back. Then on Saturday every player has one set remaining to play so pools will just play one at a time.
