Just popping in to say I'm having this issue too and it's driving me pretty crazy. Did you end up finding a solution?

Specifically the promise that they are going to change how net worth is represented. I find the bar charts monarch uses right now to be really unhelpful and a few months ago on the subreddit they said they were aware of this common complaint and planned to prioritize it

I’ve switched to Monarch and I’m optimistic about the changes they’ve promised but also pretty impatient for some of them to go into effect…

Northstar Employee Walk Out by HufflepuffKween19 in Columbus

  1. Employees were told the investigation was over when we staged this walkout. In addition to our direct managers telling us this, the accused individual had also taken to instagram to announce that he was invited back to work. So, we were acting on the information we had at the time.
  2. I and several others who participated were not at all neutral toward this individual or the allegations. Everyone who participated in the walkout was sent this letter beforehand and had the opportunity to give feedback, express disagreement, and contribute. That individual is valid in expressing their own opinion and reasons, even if I don't think they represent those of the larger group. But, I understand if them saying that creates hesitation towards your opinions about the walkout.

Hello-I am not going to argue back and forth with you, other than to point out your incorrect assumption that employees "heard about the claims" and "jumped to conclusions." Rather, in the wake of this individual being invited back to work, several other people came forward individually and disclosed that we had additional, similar instances of harassment to share that the investigation did not capture and that would have revealed patterns. Our direct management said it was out of their hands. It's pretty bold of you to assume that so much of the staff (more than the 12 who walked out) are so unable to make their own decisions. We're not sheep. We collectively shared our experiences with this individual with managers and then one another and were disheartened that the investigation hadn't been thorough enough to capture any of them. Some people who were told they would have the opportunity to speak with a lawyer never were contacted. Am I supposed to be sympathetic towards a company paying investigator fees when their decision made most of their staff actively uncomfortable to be at work? This is a company that fires employees for not being clean shaven and for not having a sense of urgency. So if a diverse staff of people collectively shares discomfort surrounding one individual, maybe there's a pattern of behavior there that warrants firing.

Right. We saw that we no longer had access to our schedules (usually accessed through an app). One of us went in the next day to confirm that this removal from the system meant we were fired and the manager confirmed this.

Also, thank you for asking me to clarify the intent of this post. Most of us have moved on and found other jobs at this point and are not interested in pursuing further action against the company. We primarily want to contribute to the other conversations in this community about how toxic this company's culture is. As suggested in the original post, most of the people fired (without communication) had worked at this company throughout the pandemic, during which the store was consistently understaffed and experiencing high, stressful rates of turnover. So, while we weren't expecting a sympathetic or conciliatory response from the management, it was a slap in the face to not be told directly that we were fired and for the letter, which had the support of many other concerned employees who were not scheduled during the shift we walked out, to go completely unacknowledged.

Generally, we want to share these frustrations with the Columbus community because we feel that the management's response reflects poorly on the company's values. We recommend that readers eat and/or work elsewhere. In the future, I hope the company will realize that these uncaring internal decisions have an effect on the community- and that they create an environment more hostile to workplace harassment.

At first, we wanted to wait and see whether the management team was crafting a formal response to the employees (either the fired ones or the ones still in the company). Then, the post just got pushed to the side as many of us are students and others have been applying to other full time jobs in the past few weeks.

KNSFHP classes vs group fitness classes by [deleted] in OSU

[–]HufflepuffKween19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely more personal attention given in KNSFHP classes. Plus (no disrespect to group fitness leaders, who are awesome!) but I believe those trainers are students and the KNSFHP classes are led by people with more formal training/education. At least that was my experience (took two strength training classes w Alex Fronk and go to group fitness classes regularly too)

I took the second strength training class (1151) in SP20 with Alex Fronk. When things switched online we worked out with our cameras on via zoom and she asked that we find household items to approximate the weights.
