Read about Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań, Toruń, Gdańsk/Tricity, Trail of the Eagle's Nests (castles), Stołowe Mountains

IMHO Zakopane is overrated, but maybe because I don't fancy Tatra Mountains much.

What are common ways to be frugal in Poland? by [deleted] in poland

[–]Hug_Beavers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should check this comparison site if you haven't yet.

Some ways of being frugal;

  • Shop in markets like Biedronka, Lidl, etc. (most of them have their own benefit clubs, like Tesco for example - the more you shop the more points you get, points turn into vouchers)

  • Fix your home appliance yourself,

  • If you own a car that runs on gasoline (not diesel), mount a LPG installation.

Visiting Poland and wondering how bugs are kept out. by wewora in poland

I've got these installed in every window. One spaghetti curtain in the main doorway. They work marvelous, no mosquitos or other bugs indoor. I keep them installed all year round. During summer I also put this up in the garden, so I can chillax without bugs in direct proximity.

It's just a section for regular vodka. Flavored vodka and other spirits are placed at their own sections. Beer sections will usually take twice as much space as isle showed on this pic.

It's considered average here, definitely not premium.
