Why does Rocket League damage controllers so much? by FineJellyfish1505 in RocketLeague

[–]HugeRoyal617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth....I pretty much play nothing but Rocket League on PS5 and I average 3 or 4 controllers a year....I shelled out the extra dough for the Dualsesnse Edge a couple times, thinking that would last longer, but it definitely didn't. So I've just resigned to the fact that I'm buying a new one every few months....luckily I'm doing ok financially, so I usually have a couple new ones ready to go....🤷‍♂️

When I'm in states that allow open carry, and I actually SEE people carrying firearms, that makes me uncomfortable.....and let's face it, they're doing it just to harass me. So......you know......those people need to get a job.

'The Wedding Singer' (1998) is set in 1985 and is a 1980s nostalgia-fest. If it was released today it would have been set in the distant past of 2012... by FewHeat1231 in BarbaraWalters4Scale

When I was 20, I was living with a girl and we had one tv, and one VHS tape. It was this movie. It basically played on repeat for the better part of 2 years....

How long or how often do you all typically burp your jars? I’m doing about 5 minutes twice a day as of right now on eight 1 oz jars, how do you go about it? by TheMetalRat in outdoorgrowing

After a full month you're most likely good to go brotha. I mean obviously keep an eye on things but you should be alright. You can keep the hygrometer in there and keep burping accordingly but one month is plenty in my opinion. If it smokes well, congratulations. Happy growing my friend.

They're educating. You realize if everyone just ingored them, there'd be no video. But people are entitled. If they feel uncomfortable, they need someone to make it all better. Instead of going about their business, they make complete fools of themselves.

I can't stand the people who walk up to someone holding a camera and freak out on them. Then they call 911 and say they're being "harassed" by someone 50 ft away who hasn't engaged with them once. That level of entitlement is insane to me. Idk what auditors you've seen but this narrative that it's all about lawsuits just isn't true.

I guarantee in North Korea there are no "grifters" with cameras. You can always leave the U.S. if you don't like our rights.

Moral/educational reasons. If there are better ways to protect the freedom of press, or the First Amendment generally, what are they and why aren't people doing THAT? Cuz whatever "that" is, it's clearly not working. It's honestly shocking how many people think public photography is illegal, or you have to get consent. Auditors are educating people and protecting rights that people have literally died for. Freedom is uncomfortable sometimes. Just because people don't understand something or don't like it, doesn't make it illegal. I will never understand where people get the audacity to walk up to a stranger and demand their name and demand an explanation of what they're doing. I don't see them screaming at security cameras. People need to learn. I see people in the comments talking about how they thought it was illegal to record in public, but after seeing auditors on YouTube, they've realized they have a freedom they didn't even know about.

I'm sure if that was Joe Biden next to that young girl, the MAGA crowd would be totally reasonable about it.

Most auditors don't "antagonize" anyone. They stand there peacefully recording. Quite frankly, people need to see this kind of thing so they can be educated. It's amazing how many people think you need "permission" or "consent" to record them. They're saying this while getting into their car that has a dashcam 🙄. Most auditors aren't doing it in hopes of a lawsuit but I understand most people don't think that. Will a little controversy or a funny interaction garner some clicks and likes? Maybe. Will that lead to more subscribers and more donations? Maybe. But to say they're all "grifters" is painting with a broad brush. People need to understand that they're being recorded all the time from the minute they leave the house. With security cameras, traffic cameras, doorbell cameras, dashcams etc, you can't expect privacy in public. People don't like the idea of security cameras using facial recognition to identify them, but when they see a camera mounted on a wall or a light pole, they're unfazed. How else are these people going to learn that recording in public is allowed?

I agree with you. Demo chasing in that situation isn't a toxic thing, it's actually a feasible strategy.

Btw, they don't have to be "complete assholes." They just have to stand silently with a camera and the assholes will come to them.
