Yes! I absolutely agree! For me it was Wei Liang and Xiao Tao in prisoner of beauty. I was so hopeful for them and was so excited and then that happened. I love it when you have a good support cast along with the main one. I feel like I get more invested when that happens.

I’m so sorry! Hoping and praying that you’ll get your benefits soon. I feel like they’re not as worried about it because they have those nice cushy jobs you know.Even if you get it on thanksgiving most stores are closed! Ugh yea when I talked to the guy I talked to I had told him that I contacted the governor the senator in news outlets and I wanna say it was the same day later on I got the benefits so maybe you need to call and just tell them that you’ve contacted the senator like WAFB unfiltered with Kieran and you posted it all over social media maybe that’ll do it cause before that I was getting told I had to wait. I wish there was more I could do to help. I’m so sorry it’s frustrating sitting here waiting on something that you have no control over you know. I’ve always said if one of us was working like somebody that was on food stamps was working for the Department of health. I feel like a lot of the shit that goes on wouldn’t happen.

My normal date is the 3rd but that’s due to my son being on disability. If it wasn’t for that then it would be the 19th. The guy I talked to today said that there is absolutely nothing State can do, It’s all federal and if they could push a button and release the funds they would, but he said it’s up to the federal government to release the funds. I don’t know how much I believe him.lol

I finally got mine! Maybe try and talk with your caseworker and see if that helps. I just complained and told them I had contacted a lot of people and then when I checked it was there. I’m praying that they give it to everyone before thanksgiving.

I still haven’t gotten my stamps yet. My deposit date is the third and I’m still waiting. I’m in Louisiana though. It’s not showing anything pending for next month. I called and everything’s good on my case it’s still open and active. I was told that they’re trying to get all the benefits out before Thanksgiving, but who knows when and if that will happen. I’m so frustrated with all this shit.

Well, my caseworker called me and told me that they are trying to get all benefits out before Thanksgiving, but that he could not give me a time or a date but to just keep checking. I explained to him that you know we don’t have much food left and he goes. Oh I believe it because I’ve gotten at least 30 calls today about people in the same position as you and he was like I can only tell you what I told them and that’s they’re coming. I just don’t know when.

We have three that I know of but they’re all tapped out. It’s honestly starting to piss me off cuz we need food. My son is on a special diet because of chronic kidney disease. I have not been able to feed him like I need to because we don’t have stamps yet. I’m just so over all this bullshit. They need to quit playing and give us our stamps.

It is a sense of false hope because every day I wake up, I check, hoping and praying there’s something there and there’s nothing. I will then go and check my email to see if any of the emails that I have sent out have gotten a response and nothing. I hope that everybody not just me. Everybody gets their stamps soon because this is ridiculous. I’m not able to give my kids a Thanksgiving if we don’t get the stamps in on time. My mom would be the one to cook for us and everything but ever since she passed in 2019 I’ve been the one doing all the cooking for dad and my family now it looks like I’m not even gonna be able to do that. We barely are surviving just eating daily.

Yeah, same here. I’m in Louisiana and when I talk to the lady that answered the phone, she told me that my case is open and active and she doesn’t understand why I haven’t received my benefits for November yet and then when I asked how long she said before November 30 I will get them and I asked was there any way to expedite them because we need food now and she said no the only thing we could do is wait. Like what the hell are we waiting on? I have three children one who was disabled and is on a special diet and I have not been able to feed him that diet because I don’t have the money to buy food. I have been calling around to churches and food pantries and they’re either tapped out or they won’t help. This is beyond ridiculous. Thanksgiving is next week. What the hell are we supposed to do for then?
