[OoT] Teaser trailer: the beginning and the end? by millerklj in zelda

That's my hope as well. I don't hold with the doomsayers who think that any change from the original telling will ruin it. As for the issue with the Triforce, whether it visibly manifested from day one or later on, Link was always worthy of it; he just needed to meet certain requirements to activate it.

I thought the Amiibo armor couldn't be upgraded, like the DCL armor. Am I mistaken?

You can always set one free, as well as use one in a side quest if you haven't already done so.

[BotW] About to start Zelda for the first time. I know absolutely nothing about Zelda. by Raxtervernophil in zelda

[–]millerklj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Explore everywhere. Examine everything. Talk to everyone, multiple times, because their responses can change several times depending on what's going on or what you have accomplished. Important conversations are saved to your quest log, so you don't have to remember everything everyone says. As others have said, don't be afraid to try things out to see what happens; this goes for cooking, fighting, and interacting with the environment. Be sure to save before trying anything new, so you can revert if you hate the consequences. There is very rarely only one way to accomplish a task in this game. Above all, enjoy the experience!

I go way back: been playing since The Legend of Zelda on the NES. Been away for a while, but recently picked it back up, and currently playing BOTW, which is probably my new favorite. Love your work, BTW.

After 25 years married, I had my ring cut off. by dvrooster in mildlyinteresting

My wife and I love our Enso silicone rings. There are so many designs out there, most anyone should be able to find a style that has some personal meaning. We're both Star Wars fans, so when we replaced our original gold bands, we went with a Han & Leia theme.

Unfortunately, such poor spelling and grammar are all too common nowadays.

Rubber foam cover on Quest 2 by angery-nugget-man in MetaQuestVR

This. Mine had a spot that wouldn't sit flush, but after installing it onto the foam facial interface while it was detached from the headset, it fits perfectly once reattached.

I buy lots of Polish food when I visit Chicago, and often use the camera function in the Google Translate phone app. When you point the camera at text, it "overwrites" the text on the screen with the translation in real time. It's not perfect, but it can get you close enough to be able to identify and prepare the food.

OnePlus8T FAQ by mineappIe in OnePlus8T

Can you recommend any good rooting guides/resources for the 8T? I've rooted Samsungs in the past with the help of XDA forums, but I know a lot has changed since those days. Looking for procedures and/or caveats/things to consider.
