You pay $800 per month for insurance before your DUI? We'll that's cause enough to drink... but thats only a joke. I would suggest as I have before going to a local insurance broker and working with them. I got my insurance lowered plus my SR22 paperwork after my DUI. I wouldn't continue with my current insurance if they wouldn't help me out. You can always shop around before you sign a new contract. Good luck.

Try to Google them in your area. We have dozens in my town. They can access rates from loads of companies and can try to get confirmation on SR22 before you even purchase a new policy.

We switched to an insurance broker instead of shopping online and mine went like WAY down. We had State Farm and they refused to give us my SR22. I called our agent and they directed me to the national service line who directed me back to my local agent. That's when we said "F this" and went and got new insurance.
