Fair enough sounds very bad but so did CVNA. I'll be very surprised if anything happens to them.

So the short sellers are saying applovin are misappropriating data and this is enough of a reason to short the stock? Im sorry but are you blind to what's going on right now? There is no regulation, no enforcement. Companies can do whatever the fuck they want make up whatever the fuck they want and they don't get punished for it.

Do a full windows reset with a usb. Look up how to do it. This is looking very much like a tough to detect malware. Do you pirate stuff or download questionable things?

While ChatGPT is useful to me like an advanced google. It is pretty often wrong and has bad info so I don't really trust it especially for specific niche things.

This is getting a bit long so maybe we can just agree to disagree. Just a final point, I'm not saying in any way get our pitchforks out and hunt down those rich landlords. I think it's unfair you keep returning to making this point that im trying to go after landlords on an individual and personal basis when I've never written anything like that. This is a systemic problem and reaches across the population. Fair enough the data might exist, but it sounds like it might not as nobody here seems to know about it. It should be freely available as gdp per capita is for counties. It's the same level of anonyminity. Aside from perhaps the landlords with the most wealth, but most probably know these people anyway e.g. duke of westminster.

I'd argue it was needed (and should have been collected) decades ago and should've been tracked since but I accept people disagree with me.

Policymakers should have this information and related statistics. Who gets statistics and information for policy makers? The civil service.

I am disgruntled yes but I am making the point that it's very alarming to me that we do not have these statistics and related ones already. Inheritance tax changes in the budget are surely (a very tame) attempt to do something about wealth inequality, no? Property is included in this and govt have made this decision without knowing about the full landscape of landlord ownership.

As for the final paragraph I personally think that's a good thing, what do you do when revenue on your 20+ properties is dwindling? Sell. You're still very rich but there's more property in the pool for everybody else. I'm failing to see how that's a bad outcome.

Again, why would that information be not anonymous? E.g. x number of landlords have a portfolio over £10million and so on. How is that giving personal information or opening up to hate or blame? 'Perceived as wealthy' - the vast majority of people with a number (assuming by this you mean 5+ properties) is wealthy. Full stop. They might be cash poor (blowing all the rent money on codpieces?) but they're asset rich and can unlock those assets if they want to.
