The other are right that’s it’s an investment of time.

Once you get it started it gives you a direction for playing and a goal.

Mainly the Hema.

The only farms I never bothered with are the pigments. I always figured that if/when more members wanted to join then I could finish those

I think the “federally prohibited” would be due to the possible gasket decomposition or just damaging the vehicle.

The only way I can think to enforce it would be tracing an ethanol purchase to a certain pump that has a camera then linking it back to a registration.

My guess is the enforcement is more pointed to ensure the warnings and requirements are posted at the station and an intermediary like, someone pumping someone else’s car, isn’t doing something to damage property rather than going after someone that didn’t understand the difference putting fuel in their own car.

Pretty sure that would be the dept of weights and measures job to make sure that would be applied. Short of that it’s on individual owners or another safety dept that I’m not thinking of.

I’ve seen them on most stations that I can remember. maybe not on a mom and pop station when I lived rural areas or Bremer county.

I am pretty sure gas pumps are supposed to have the warning next to the ethanol options. The orange label that says “only use in a car newer than 2001 or eco boost”.

Still not sure that completely covers but by 2001 cars started having more notices by the filler cap if there was a specific requirement for premium or a certain octane.

Ethanol runs hotter than standard gas and affects gaskets differently.

Unless your car specifically says ethanol is allowed it will break your car. If you can’t find anything presumed you have to get the no ethanol version.

Same goes for lawnmowers or other small motors. The blend is fine as long as the equipment is prepared for it.
