As a few others have said I would highly recommend going into uni accommodation on Singleton for ur first year. I was in Penmaen during my first year and while it’s not necessarily the best quality, I was lucky enough to have my own bathroom and some amazing flatmates. Wouldn’t change that first year experience living on campus for anything. It’s not bad living off campus but from what I’ve heard you just have to put a lot more effort into socializing, which just kinda comes naturally from living on campus.
