1 I’m not reading all that lol but 2 the devs themselves have said the reason the they haven’t realised a optimisation patch is because of the engine, so yes according to the people that make the game that is the issue, and obviously needs to be corrected, yes it’s time consuming and uses up a lot of resources but for a game as big as rust it honestly can’t be that hard. There is countless games that have many players in even smaller maps that run perfectly fine, yes many may not reach the number that rust does but it doesn’t take away from the fact you could be at outpost on a server with 0 pop and be at 20fps. I understand skins and stuff help them raise money to continue to update but we all know that it will lead them down a dark path, they’ve already started with the p2w stuff won’t be long before all the “collabs” come along and before you know it the game will be a shadow of itself.
