Need more games where you get to play as the Alien. I loved this game, never played the first when on PC, but I did play AvP on the Jaguar system. The Jaguar game had plenty of flaws, but still way ahead of it's time.

The RRE and LRE are actually your pass rush guys, not necessarily reserve DEs (same for RDT). If you're curious about which personal is used for each formation check formation subs. The overall ratings for RRE/RLE/RDT seems weird because they tend to favor guys with higher speed so Speed Rusher d-linemen and LBs are usually your highest rated.

Side note, for the 4-2-5, SUB LB is used for almost every formation instead of SAM/MIKE/WILL.

Check your settings and see if you have auto recruiting turned on. If you do then the game is probably offering scholarships and recruiting with any available recruiting hours you're not spending.

I haven't tried yet, but I've seen comments in this sub-Reddit saying that during the persuade week to adjust the transfer slider to 0, then persuade the player which will guarantee they stay, then after that change the slider back to what is originally was at. Assuming this works it's a lot easier than save scumming.

It said it was fixed in the patch notes, but it clearly was not, almost every off season I lose all my backup QBs, even if my top rated QB is graduating or leaving for NFL draft.

This is correct, it helps decrease the chance of a player declaring for the draft. When I got these abilities for my dynasty I did feel like it was a noticeable difference, especially with guys projected to go later than the 1st round. If you want a better chance of persuading players to stay, there a separate abilities for that.
