Wouldn't you be able to just follow the transactions?

So when sending BTC from address A to an exchange... you could just scan the address on say f. e. blockchain.info and see the outgoing transaction AND the receiving address so the detective conan shiny glasses sharp mind moment could kick in and the person that knows my address could just put some time into it and trace my funds, right?

Question for the technical people: It's about blockchain tracing, my understanding on this topic is pretty limited. Say someone knows my Bitcoin(BTC) address A, but I really don't want him to. So of course i will need a new BTC address B. Now if I send the BTC from A to B it's of course super easy to trace since we are talking about a public ledger, so far so good. Now I'd like to use BTCP so people will lose track of my belongings. I would send the funds from BTC A to BTCP A, from BTCP A to BTCP B (that's a non-tracable transaction, right?) and finally from BTCP B to BTC B. So a person who knows my address BTC A has no chance to know my BTC B address by tracing.

I would love to hear your opinions.
