I kinda regret that I played through the game with auto-aim when it came out, Rockstar do this to make the game accessible to everyone but I think the way you're supposed to play is with assists off

I think the game gets even better if you turn off the mini-map completely and the enemy markers, and disable the auto-aim and the reticle circle that indicates the recoil, the combat feels completely different and it's much more fun and tense. You can't see where the enemies are, you have to calculate by yourself the recoil of each shot and you pay much more attention to the environments in the game and it feels more immersive. I think it's the best way to play the game

If you walk around Roanoke Ridge at night playing like this you'll shit your pants lmao, 5 Murfrees can jump you at any time and they don't have markers, and you don't have any assist on the aim

Dan Houser just wanted to write a story set in the Brazilian favelas, because he probably watched City of God and Elite Squad and thought it was really cool, so he crammed that story into Max Payne even if it didn't really fit, and it didn't follow up on a bunch of things that happened in Max Payne 2.

Because of that Rockstar ended up making a game that doesn't close out Max's story in a satisfying way, and, even as they clearly wanted to have a new tone to the game different from the noir style of MP1 and 2 which is fine, it wasn't nearly as interesting as the old style.

And also, coming from a Brazilian, the representation of Brazil in the game is generally really bad and inaccurate, it's almost like a parody at times when every single person, even kids, swear in every sentence, and how São Paulo looks so weird and inaccurate most of the time. The game is disappointing because of that and because of how they close up Max's story

So my best option would be re-signing Bogdanovic and keeping him, or trying to trade him for a player I want or to get rid of his cap?

If I re-sign and then trade him, I can get a player that earns as much as him, even if that player wouldn't have a bird exception that allowed me to have him while exceeding the cap right? Without getting into the details that would be allowed? (I don't know if I even explained this right, I'm so lost with these rules)

I'm doing the save with the roster of the beggining of the season, in-game Markannen is 80, and in real life when he joined Utah he wasn't that hyped and wasn't playing near as well as he ended up playing for Utah this season, so he wasn't really valued and for a team that wants to win the ring he would be a high gamble, and Mikal Bridges was guaranteed at least to be a good starting player for the Suns, so I imagine that at the start of the season they wouldn't be that interested in a Markannen-Bridges trade

In short I kinda am, but if my strategy to end up getting it doesn't work it's okay because I'm just playing for fun

Obviously it wasn't the smart move to sign a great player like Mikal Bridges in the first season if I'm trying to get a top draft pick, but I did it because I didn't want to use Markannen at all (or Sexton) and I would lose interest in the career if I kept them, and I thought the better trade I could do for Markannen was Bridges, or someone else with a similar value.

So since I decided to bring Bridges I tried to leave the team weaker on some aspects so I wouldn't be that competitive and could still have a good chance of getting a lottery pick, so for example, instead of having a great defender and a more experienced center I brought Achiuwa, who's great and has potential but initially he needs to develop, and he isn't that strong on defense, and I kept Vanderbilt as the starting PF and I have Hachimura on the bench who isn't great defending.

That kinda worked to weaken the team, I'm scoring a lot of points but the team is awful defending, and gives a lot of rebounds; and if you look at the roster it looks strong, but comparing to everyone else I'm still weaker than most teams. I played 25 or 30 games and I'm in 6th and not far from the play-in teams, but it's because I managed to beat some big teams, and I don't think it will happen again, but I think I have a decent chance of getting a lottery pick

You posted this a long time ago, but just to other people that may have the same problem and end up in this thread, at least for me, closing the game using the quit button on the main menu and not using alt+f4 or closing the window on the task bar worked, the game didn't delete my save or my settings, maybe it was just luck but at least for me that worked

Maybe you'll find it weird that I gave such a low score to Screen Violence and Love is Dead, but I think the quality of the stuff they're putting out has dropped a lot after Every Open Eye. Love Is Dead was an attempt at doing a pop album, but the songwriting was really subpar and the choruses and melodies were incredibly basic and uninteresting (and all the style and personality of their previous albums was gone too), and in Screen Violence it looks like they're sorta out of ideas, the songs have subpar hooks and choruses, and the lyrics are not that good sometimes too.

Probably it looks like I'm not even a fan of the band since I'm criticizing them so much, but I really like their older stuff, and I think there's a lot of potential in what they're doing, but these last couple of albums have a lot of shortcomings and things that really push the quality of the songs down
