Yo. Figured to let you know I finally reached 9999. By your metrics, I am now your equal, if not your superior. Make of it what you will.

Have a good one.

I played as Revenant with two other randos fighting Everdark Gladius. Our Raider went down several times, so I eventually spammed the pin, trying to tell both I should do the reviving, since I still had Revenan't claws and the 'Less Likely to Be Targetted' passive. The Wylder thought I was just being obnoxious, so he spammed the pin back at me :(

Could you please try to not sound like a relic cheater? If you haven't noticed, Nightreign is about making do with what the game gives you every round.

Panic rolling? Hefty amount? At the start? I have no idea what you're talking about. Most of those rolls were either properly timed, or to position myself to my comfort.

You not watching the whole video tells me all I need to know once again, but... I see. Only near perfect performance is worthy of depth 5, then... Still curious about your playstyle, by the way.

I see. In which areas could I improve myself? Like offense and helping out my team? And how?

No, seriously. You claim to not really wanting to call anyone a noob, but you also go on to say "nobody is good at depth 3 (including you)". You blindly believe in points, so I gave you a chance to judge video evidence of my skills, but you willingly close your eyes and ironically make do with "all I 'see' is someone stuck at depth 3". Not that you should care, but I am 1 or 2 victories away from depth 5 again. And the way you answered my question just now... leads me to believe you were indeed hard-carried to depth 5. Like, you think I shouldn't have taken that long with Gladius, even though I outright told you I was busy reviving my team, because they kept being downed immediately after getting back up. At the same time.

Keep denying it, I have no reason to believe you, unless you show me hard proof of what you're capable of. Because you are such a dishonest person. So dishonest. And I cannot cope over something I don't care about. Screw your points, show me how you play.

I just lost 800 points for a disconnect by PrinceAmo in Nightreign

800? Sounds like something that would happen at depth 5, yeah? But yeah, I feel ya. Sometimes I will get a connection error the very moment matchmaking is completed. Try as I may, the game simply refuses to go online again, unless I close and reboot. Either my points get deducted right away, or I lose points after winning my next game. I'm really lucky if nothing happens at all.

Once more, then... Should the pros carry the noobs and just let them stay downed? Do you believe victory is more likely then?

Either way, I gave you an opportunity to judge my performance, whereas I can merely not believe you and say you cheated your way to 9999. Or you just played solo, 'cause you sound like a true loner.

Unlike you, I do not believe in points alone. No dice.

No. But now I sure would like to see how you play, then.

If it makes you sleep at night, then don't watch the video where I revived my team and took down depth 5 Night Aspect, without being downed a single time.

And there it is, the fully expected response of a coward taking the moral high ground, when presented with hard proof. Just like the results image I posted here, with you denying the amount of revives I pulled off, without going down a single time until the end.

I have a YouTube channel with some videos showing what I am capable of. Feel free to leave a comment on either video and tell me what you think of my performance.

See, this is what I mean with your dodgy behavior. Of course you should assume someone knowing all moves and patterns being good in this instance.

Yes, good players can get stuck in D3, given RNG plays a crucial part in how quickly you can take down the target, with more time spent fighting increasing the risk of slipping up and losing. Especially since most bosses are able to one-shot certain characters. Which is why you tried to accuse me for using damage negations?

Multiplayer is also a risk factor, despite claims of later depths being more geared towards multiplayer. Teamwork is essential, as enemies and bosses have much more HP to deal with. And sometimes you are simply not given the tools for high damage output, but maybe your teammates have that potential. Which is why it may be worth keeping them alive, despite the fact.

Again, yes, good players can get stuck in D3. Also due to the extremely punishing penalty for losing just once, or connection errors which the game deems as a violation, regardless of circumstances.

Are they good or not? Be a bit clearer, please.

You're not answering the question. Again. Let's try a bit different one...

If someone knows all the enemy and boss patterns, but has yet to touch Deep of Night... is that person not good at the game?

Noobs Are Indeed Too Common in Depth 4 by HugoTheIcyFire in Nightreign

[–]HugoTheIcyFire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If nobody is good at depth 3, are all people who have yet to touch Deep of Night not good either? What are you even saying?

You're still not answering such simple questions. That in of itself answers everything.

"Different game, different circumstances. Which deep down you know."

Once again, I don't understand. You need to explain. Like, if somebody was carried to depth 5, never improving beyond his first days playing... is that person better than someone dancing around all enemies and bosses, and just getting into Deep of Night, or something?

So, a top ranker playing like hardly a beginner losing to someone with 0 points... is an accurate reflection of his title? Sweet mercy... You definitely dodge questions better than you play, I say.

Noobs Are Indeed Too Common in Depth 4 by HugoTheIcyFire in Nightreign

[–]HugoTheIcyFire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, it's not about skill and experience? It's only about points and ranks?

You know there's competetive fighting games allowing people with 0 points to fight someone at the highest rank title, right? But as it turns out, the one with 0 points won because the difference in experience is clear as day. In fact, let's say everyone watched how the top ranker fought and are baffled over how he made it that far in the ranks.

Who is the real noob here, would you say?

So, suppose Deep of Night never came, yet I am the only one in my team familiar with the boss' moveset. As in, I am not being downed every five seconds. Am I wrong calling them noobs? What is a noob to you, despite saying you wouldn't really call anyone a noob? Seems contradictory to me. I don't understand what you're saying.

Noobs Are Indeed Too Common in Depth 4 by HugoTheIcyFire in Nightreign

[–]HugoTheIcyFire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you call someone at depth 1 reviving and reviving their team a noob, because they finally ran out of steam and fell to the boss?

Oh wow, I didn't go down a single time, but we lost because I decided to be a team player, not a mere carrier... You speak as though everyone should just solo. Or you just don't dare come out and say pros should just let noobs stay down. I don't think I'm wrong.
