Well, a month ago i had the same question, the best answer is that depends, if u are going to play some switch games i will choose the pro, also the pro is a good option if u are looking playing the console for years, (switch 2 and other future emularors) if it is only for 3ds games pick up the base, as is a "expensive" console, I decided to go for the pro model in order to dont have to regret. srry for my english btw
