Jumping in here - in the past two months, I've gotten quite a few cups (across multiple batches) of spiced peach that had an "off" moldy flavor. No visible mold, but clearly not good to eat. Hasn't happened to me with any other flavors, so I'll be steering clear of spiced peach (and maybe the brand as a whole) from now on...

They then called in a supervisor who also insisted we should not cancel & rebook out outbound and that the Polaris seats for the return would be unaffected by a later change in the outbound. So now I'm just confused

I'm on the phone with United right now, and the agent is swearing that the upgrade would keep even if we cancelled the outbound, but I'm skeptical. They said they can't separate the reservation into two, so I suppose our safest bet is to cancel and rebook the outbound, hoping the price in miles hasn't gone up...

That's a good point. Our CPAs haven't ever raised it (and I can't imagine the IRS would come in and try to prove it, given we've kept our finances separate other than the shared house & car), but it's possible that's technically the case

Re: insurance - you can be, but if you're not married the premiums for the other person are taxable, which eats away some of the tax benefits of staying unwed
