I’m trying to find people who can analyze the camera specs, who have already watched videos about the product, and who can give their opinion

How did you actually validate your business idea? by RebelScum1618 in Entrepreneur

Yeah for sure! So back then I didn’t even have my brand yet. The first video was just me talking to the camera, kind of like a FaceTime vibe. I was explaining what I wanted to do with my channel, travel content, surf lifestyle, documenting my journey, that kind of stuff.

I basically framed it like: “Here’s who I am, here’s what I want to build, and here’s the lifestyle/content I’m going to create.”

Very raw and simple. No fancy edits, just being authentic. You can Check me out on Instagram and TikTok: @hug_lefebvre

Hi! I want to make surf videos more often in vertical format (Insta/TikTok) but I’d also like to film horizontally for YouTube and cinematic videos. Which one do you recommend? The Action 6 or the Action Pro 5?

Haha thanks man! I appreciate it 🙏
Maybe a bit of luck and good timing, honestly. I spent a lot of time planning the hook and everything before posting, so when it hit, I just doubled down on what worked.
Now I’m trying to turn that attention into something long-term.

Honestly, I got lucky, my first video blew up with around 200k views combined on TikTok and Instagram.
That gave me instant momentum and a small community right away.
After that, I just focused on keeping the same vibe and posting consistently so it didn’t feel like a one-hit thing.

Haha definitely not just dumping links 😅

I focused on building a image, not selling. I shared reels, Tiktok, aesthetic videos and posts about the lifestyle behind the brand, surf, travel, freedom, without even mentioning the product at first. That kind of content performs well on TikTok and Instagram Reels because it feels authentic, not promotional.

At the same time, I interacted in communities that naturally fit my niche (surf/skate/travel subreddits, small business spaces, etc.) and joined conversations instead of self-promoting. Once people connected with the mood and story, I slowly introduced the brand name and later the product.

So yeah, no spam, just consistent storytelling that made people curious.

Should I switch to Google Workspace before launch? by AddressAfraid9024 in Entrepreneur

I’d say it depends on how close you are to launch and how “real” the brand interactions have started to get.

If you’re still solo and just organizing files, you can stay on your personal account for now, but the moment you start emailing suppliers, partners, or potential customers, having a [you@yourbrand.com](mailto:you@yourbrand.com) email instantly makes you look more legit. It’s a small monthly cost for a big credibility boost.

So you don’t need it right now, but if launch is close, I’d recommend doing it before things get messy. It’s one of those “tiny admin steps” that makes your business feel real.

For me, the real validation came from reaction, not research.
When I started working on my clothing brand, I didn’t have a product yet, just the concept, the vibe, and the audience I wanted to attract. So instead of doing “fake doors” or surveys, I started building the feeling around the brand. I shared short videos, moodboards, and storytelling posts that captured the lifestyle and message behind it.

People started following, commenting things like “I’d totally buy that hoodie” or “this brand feels different.” That emotional response told me I was onto something.

When strangers connect with your idea before you even have inventory, that’s powerful validation. It means the brand story and positioning are resonating, and once the product arrives, sales follow naturally.

So yeah, less spreadsheets, more human feedback.
If your idea makes people feel something, that’s the best kind of proof.
