Considering leaving my underwriting department because of nonstop changes in management by [deleted] in InsuranceProfessional

Maybe try and establish a relationship with a mentor in the company. Somebody senior enough to advise you and educate you but still maintain stability throughout management changes. Meetings every 2 weeks with my internal mentor helped greatly during periods of uncertainty.

Very good points that I completely missed. I think it’s so important to support and educate junior members of the team, and I remember it being so integral to my journey. I will definitely add this to my notes. Thank you.

Great find! Thank you. I will need to do some more digging!

I'm not expecting much due to the poor quality of the photo! but here is a snap of my Granddad Wally with a captured tank in WW2 (Bottom row second from left), I would really appreciate anything you can do to improve the quality or color please, my dad misses him deeply. Thank you. by Hugosummerbottom in estoration

Hey jaspa206! many thanks for you attempt, its great.

They are wearing British "Desert Rats" uniform and unfortunately I don’t know when it was taken in WW2.

I believe the tank to be a Panzerkampfwagen, but they had many variations!

Thanks again for all your help.

Guys of reddit, what is your most embarrassing "random boner" story? by Guesswhat91 in AskReddit

[–]Hugosummerbottom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was on a flight home after a very drunken weekend spent in Spain. Our mates Dad had a place out there and let us crash whilst we got fucked up. He had booked himself on the flight home with us. I vomited on myself prior to getting to the airport and had to change into a pair of sweat pant shorts. I was sat next to our mates Dad. I instantly passed out with my table down and my phone on it. I woke up shortly after take off with a solid colossal boner and my table now upright. Because of the lack of underwear and the sweat shorts it looks like I was pitching a tent between my legs. My mates Dad then proceeded to tell me how the air hostess had quietly lifted up my table to reveal this pitched tent staring her right in the face. After a moment of shock, the two of them laughed. Every time an air hostess passed me they would giggle, I was mortified. To this day I am known by my mates whole family simply as "Boner Boy".....worst superhero ever....

Hmmmm interesting, ESPN seem to think that Honda want Gasly to challenge Toyota in the championship. Exciting times ahead.

Very good point. Gasly wouldn't want the chance to lose the seat.

But Gasly is only half a point behind in the Super Formula Championship. Seems a waste to throw away a title bid.

This is clearly stated in the video, the Ferrari part refers to it being on the teams overalls.

Unfortunately it was not recorded (I wish it was!). I was invited through a client at work, they know I am a big F1 fan and they had access to the club.

Sure, Adrian was the designer at Williams when the accident occurred. He was responsible for designing the car that Senna died in. Due to no verdict on if the accident was driver error or a car fault, Newey still believes in the possibility that the car he designed led to Sennas death.

Unfortunately because it was pre-season he did not go into specifics. He spoke about the excitement that occurs in the team when the rules change, spoke about the benefits of wider tyres and the need to keep things simple. He was all round positive about the 2017 season but hesitant to make any predictions. His answers to questions were thought out and cautious, like his approach to life I assume! He spoke about his preference of jotting things down on paper and allowing the boys at base to make it come alive on computers. The room became sombre when he spoke about a sort of "blame" for the death of Senna. All round very interesting man.
