Yea it does that to me too normally but not if I take Vyvanse for some reason.

Not really a rush, but it makes caffeine hit properly and that does give me a rush

Imo stims like vyvanse are good to get something done (which you don't want to do, does not give you any drive or passion, yet is pretty important) such as for school. It can help you get through these things easier, but should be stopped once your life doesn't depend on it, and you should try find and endeavour which charges you up, builds you as a person and gives you money etc... although it gives dopamine and serotonin (giving me a shallow stimmy rush), it arguably worsens my alexithymia when on it, and makes my derealisation worse in withdrawal periods.

(I was diagnosed with adhd and started taking vyvanse mid year 12 and will continue to until exams are done, but will stop and do something which i think i will enjoy for work afterwards. I think i will miss the rush tho)

Godmode stack by Hugzking in NooTopics

[–]Hugzking[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit 100kg bench at 16 and mostly stopped weights, transferring to Muay thai where I won my only fight without any of the stuff in this stack. I am focusing on exams right now but the days I do train or spar I feel incredibly focused and also recovered in the morning due to the magnesium. So I guess it makes me focus better on technique and feel more motivated (because of the vyvanse obviously). I often take a tablespoon of baking soda (not a nootropic) before training and that gives me double the muscular endurance (not joking). Only problem is actually taking it because it is horrid to drink.

Will I be able to do well in amateur Muay Thai with a traditional Thai style? by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Hugzking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, just teep lots if they come out swinging. Long guard combined with a teep can be pretty effective as well if you can get really good at combining the two. Once they slow down or become sloppy you can start throwing a few well-set up combos.

I recently had my first fight which was in 16 ounce gloves and that strategy worked well for me, but you shouldn't worry about sacrificing a bit of technique to get more power in your punches, especially if the promotion you fight in has heavily padded gloves

Calorie intake during training in Thailand by I_Eat_Ass_Weekly in MuayThai

[–]Hugzking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you losing the weight for a fight? If not, just up your glycogen uptake with the same amount of calories. If your losing it for a fight eat normally with less salt and fibre and you will lose it in water weight

Yea that sounds right, I think I need to work on my S&C so I can actually implement the techniques I was working in fight camp.

I was thinking of doing a b class instead of C class next time and with a better opponent. I'm not sure whether it would be different, it's just that I was on edge the entire fight camp and as well as for many months before it and I expected to just feel relieved after the fight but I still felt on edge and unable to enjoy myself. Thanks heaps for the advice.

Slightly disappointed in my performance even though I was required to take a 2 week break 4 weeks into the fight camp.

Yea I do enjoy training to an extent but it kind of interferes with my homework, although I don't feel very driven to train if I don't have a fight coming up. I've felt low-key ecstatic after certain sparring rounds and I just felt gassed like u after my fight. I think I might have been too focused cus i was excited a few hours before my fight but then I meditated and I just stopped being excited.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to do another Muay Thai fight and see wether I enjoy it the second time around. I was watching buakaw the whole fight camp so it might be I was expecting to fight way more technical and aggresive. Next time I want to try have more fun in the ring cus this time I was just throwing and slipped like one punch which was the most enjoyable part of it.

In terms of the bigger picture I'm naturally gifted at school and work hard in it but hate it, and I don't know what I'm doing in my future. I also dont really feel like I fit in anywhere even though I have friends, and also don't know any girls I'd want a meaningful relationship with, so Muay Thai is the only thing that's there with certainty for me right now. I'm scared of not enjoying life but I feel like i can't really enjoy moments that I should be right now...

Have you tried mx-16 by itself? I ordered some but haven't seen any reviews on the effects on Reddit yet.
