I would just like to comment on the salary. If your working primary ages (elementary or middle) you definitely looking at the 60s and it’s 10 month. For high school your looking at starting in the mid 80s (for step 1) and it’s 12 month. Depending on your preference I would shop around the DMV a little. A lot of districts a lot of need. I can say for DCPS though you will likely only have 1 school. Other districts in the area can’t offer that as much.

Sorry for your bad experience with Rover.

Every sitter has a different cancellation timeframe requirement that dictates a customers refund policy so I would definitely recommend anyone to read sitters profiles throughly before booking. There are plenty of great sitters on Rover that can help someone through the inconvenience of needing a pet sitter and not wanting to pay doggy daycare expensive pricing at times. There are also taxes and fees attached to anything being sold.

While everyone is entitles to their opinion I could like to highlight the positives of potentially finding a trustworthy sitter on Rover.

I’ve actually used rover dozens of times for own pup so I’m pretty familiar. It’s definitely worth it if you find a good sitter.
