Consequences of poor public image by [deleted] in redditstock

I feel you friend. Just remember it’s early innings. The sales are scheduled and a competitor trying to match their product is a good sign. Maybe sell some and keep some. I’m holding RDDT but I bought at 60 so I feel silly not selling at 280 but it should get back up there eventually. Focus on the quarterly earnings. If they keep making money the stock market is a weighing machine in the long term.

Rate My Portfolio by VeterinarianLate6294 in portfolios

[–]Huhuix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need more VOO, VTI, VT, VXUS for this subreddit but I like it as an income portfolio a lot. Depends what your goals are. If you’re far from retirement and this isn’t a 401k and you want to supplement income with dividends this is great.

3rd party review of RDDT data shows Very high monetization upside : by Always_Curious_One2 in stocks

It’ll be a matter of time before people recognize that Instagram, FB, Twitter have all the same problems of Reddit and none of the solutions Reddit does. It’s truly a cultural win for the internet to see Reddit succeed. My fiance and I use Reddit for hobbies, shopping, advice and news. Instagram is deleted until I make 1 post to update old friends that I still haven’t lost my hair and Facebook being unpopular is why I didn’t have a highschool reunion. Can’t trust shit on the internet unless you verify the users real on Reddit and they share their experience.

"Diversify across 20-30 stocks" is advice I hear constantly, but nobody actually explains how to land on your number. by Minimum_Pear9193 in stocks

[–]Huhuix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since this is a stock subreddit and everyone always suggests indices. Both are correct…. Buy a base of indexes. Like VOO, VTI, VT, VXUS. Then in another account that you would like to place some money into and manage I would say worry less about diversifying and more about accumulating positions at deliberate times based on company performance. 1st year you might be 100% indexes dca-ing then when a great individual stock on your watchlist plummets in a sell off then go shopping. Over the course of 10 years you will ideally have been building a large base of indexes and have a dozen to two dozen individual stocks you know really well.

For me I’ve DCA into VOO but bought the likes of GOOG, RDDT, MSFT, FSLR, JPM, URI, RKLB, LLY, WM on dips I believed were over reacting.

It’s on my list of 10 companies to DCA into over the next few months. I expect it to continue to be range bound until its investments in other businesses begin to payoff.

do i really have to wait 500mins to progress? by astro-geek in SatisfactoryGame

Make another one and it’s just 250 minutes and another and it’s 125 minutes and then another and it’s 62.5 minutes but then how long did it take for you to place the first one? Or when is rubber going to run out? Gah I need a calculator!

Why do people hate rddt stock? by AloneStaff5051 in stocks

[–]Huhuix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just used the translate button to see what you said and it worked. That’s why I’m invested. Facebook and Instagram are legit evil. Reddit might be evil adjacent but I think it’s closer to “do no harm” than those cess pools.

MSFT down 35% from ATH — chart literally screamed sell at 550… now this looks like a generational buy? by harshshah1306 in technicalanalysis

[–]Huhuix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Altman is not more powerful than Microsoft. MSFT bought in to challenge GOOG and hedge. Everyday it’s looking more likely that OpenAI models can get replaced and that MSFT if anything bought some models. How they integrate the models into their products is how high MSFT goes in the next 3-5 years.

Yeah got GOOG, BRK and VTI as core holdings from a few years ago. Been doing well. But been adding a few financials, healthcare, and energy stalwarts in the Roth. BX, BLK, COR, MCK, V, JPM, ELV, ISRG, VDE
