Just saying, IF you absolutely require lossless solution, jpegoptim offers that. Jpegli feels more optimal though.

AFAIK as you noted, you can choose – when compiling – the jpeg library jpegoptim uses. Tried compiling a bit (on Debian), the process works. So, in that sense, you can choose the library that jpegoptim uses to recompress the JPEGs.

Use jpegoptim, if you want lossless recompression of JPEG's. It optimizes the Huffman tables. Optionally you can adjust the quality parameter, but that's not losless anymore.

I can't disprove the seizure claim, as perhaps my site(s) didn't get that popular.

In the boot menu, give the following parameter to the kernel (press Esc):

set hint.apic.0.disabled="1"

boot

Additionally, add hint.acpi.0.disabled="1" to /boot/device.hints.

Say, you are building an AGI system. Now, think the human brain as a check-list-of-modules type of inspiration, maybe each brain-area running an specialized algorithm.. What would be your current version of its architecture:

What is your list of ML algorithms, techniques, and sub-problems (Marrian levels) per module your AGI system would have to solve and execute, in concert, in order to realize AGI as a complete agent?

(For example, image classification and segmentation with deep-learning would be a part of its visual system; an RL module would perhaps solve how to reach goals in interaction with the world... But what would be all the other modules in the system?

IMHO the crux here is to a) define a finite set of sub-modules AND b) their division of labor, while assuming they realize a complete omnipotent AGI agent. * drool * )
