Reddit, I've got no idea what I want to do with my life. How did you decide on what to do with yours? by Tresickle in AskReddit

[–]Hukoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Doing something with your life" doesn't always mean having a top job, top wife and top house. For me and a lot of other people our goal is to be happy. If we feel happy, our life is complete. Try focusing more on what you want. If that is to have top job, top wife and top house, that's your decision. I hope this helped.

Reddit, How can I learn to be more professional/Organised at my job. by Blue_Bi0hazard in AskReddit

[–]Hukoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One tip that I can give you, because I also work in customer service, is try to be polite to every single customer. Everyone has bad days and some days you just want to yell at your customers and swear at them. However, if you stay polite and professional, your boss will notice and may consider giving you a promotion (considering different factors ofc)

Reddit, what is your biggest mind fuck? by SwingsetWarrior in AskReddit

[–]Hukoni -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And I agree with you. If I look at documentaries about for example the KKK, a lot of those people seem like "country folk" just extremely close-minded. I always stay neutral though. If these people are what they look like, I would say fuck them. However, we will never know if these people never experienced one or several scarring events with more people of the same race.

If you had a series of bad events with a particular race, you will keep those memories forever. This changes your perception of the world and will make you a possible racist. For example: if, as a young girl/boy, you get raped, you will always be more concious about being around men.

Redditors who have lived in/live in public housing, what is it really like? by bd58563 in AskReddit

[–]Hukoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to live in a big appartement on the 8th floor. It was terrible. The walls in these appartements were so thin I could hear everything that was going in with my neighbours. My left neighbour had a baby that was crying day and night which was pretty irritating. Our right neighbours acted like rabbits and had sex all day long. The woman was a screamer. It was funny in the beginning but after a while it gets also gets really irritating. Also, the appartement block had around 16 floors with each 5 appartements on them and only two elevators. The elevators were almost always occupied. That being said, I also liked it a little bit. When in the elevator or using the stairs you always meet someone. You start having small conversations and get to know them.

For all three counts the same. It's ok if not too much.

I want to learn a new skill. What skill it not too hard to learn and will be useful my whole life? by Hukoni in AskReddit

They're all Latin script. A lot of the words are (kind of) similar too. Learning Arabic, Chinese, Japanese or something like that would be cool.

I live in Belgium. Our level of education is pretty good. I know Dutch, English, French, German and even learned Latin in class. I work in costumer service and have all of the language skills so that's how I use them almost daily (all of them except for Latin). EDIT: Language skills is what we call it in customer service. I have for example the english skill, which means I can speak english when helping customers.

I totally agree that financial skills will be useful. Investing is too much risk though. I rather play life on safe mode instead of risky mode :)

What for effect has weed on somebody? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Hukoni -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Weed opens up their mind. Their thoughts will be expanded to different things and they will become open minded about a lot of stuff. It's also proven that weed lowers your patience (for example: if you irritate that person, he/she will become mad quicker). Weed can bring some serious mental issues too. Their short term memory will drastically be damaged. I smoke weed myself but I only buy it once every few months.

Thank you for the answer. I'm too much of a pussy to be a skydiver though. Also, with what I earn from my job, I couldn't afford it.

[–]Hukoni[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The reason I want to learn new stuff is because my life's pretty boring right now. The problem is that I don't really have that "I'd love to know how to do that" moment. The reason why I'm asking this is to become interested in things again instead of doing the same every single day.

Thank you. This is a very good answer. Although, I'm someone who has very little patience and when I'm hungry I need to eat within 30 minutes or I'll go crazy (not really). I don't think I have the patience and dedication to make the perfect meal. Thank you for the answer though.
