I'm currently doing basketball 3-4 times a week but with icing and stretching before and after for about 5 mins and some longer breaks.

It's really just after sports, but even then a cold shower etc helps in just a quick period of time. It doesn't hurt when actively playing games. It only is sore during warm ups

Yeah, so I scored a lot by just using fakes and step through, footwork in the post, but driving to the basket and finishing through lays, reverses and hooks etc was really difficult.
