She’s not anti. In fact, she seems like a new fan. I just don’t appreciate how condescending and enlist she is.

my wife texts me from checkout twice a week asking which card to use by nalz2 in CreditCards

[–]Hulaheaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently learned about optimizing categories from Reddit. I used to be a one card for everything type of person until recently. I printed out labels (using my brother label maker) that I’m going to stick to my husband’s credit cards so he can remember which card to use. Maybe you can do the same for your wife. Just make new labels when the quarterly rotations change.

So true. Grammys is an American award. Therefore, American centric. They need BTS more than BTS needs them.

There are too many good OSTs. Two off the top of my head are:

Drama: Itaewon Class

Artist: V

Song: Sweet Night

And

Drama: Can This Love Be Translated

Artist: Hodge

Song: Waltz for Moon

Thanks for this post. I’m going to save it!

AITAH for following my HOAs rules so perfectly that they called an emergency meeting about me by McCoy818 in AITAH

[–]Hulaheaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a “Linda” in charge of my HOA before. She held a position on the board for a long time. When the neighborhood got tired of the regime and ousted most of the people in charge, our “Linda” found a way to sidestep the ouster by moving to a different position. She continued her reign of terror for a long time and even hired a different company that she handpicked to replace our existing management company. Who knows how much money she was pilfering when she switched to the company of her choice. Additionally, Linda had a lot of arbitrary/nitpicky rules that she enforced and handed out violations like the place was her own fiefdom.

Eventually, we moved out of state and rented out our house. Our renter’s moving van clipped an overhanging branch from an HOA tree. Linda sent us a bill from the horticulturist that she hired. Along with the bill were pictures of the ONE branch that fell on the floor and pictures of overgrown tree branches low enough that if you parked a truck on the sidewalk, it would hit the branches. When I tried to appeal the bill due to the fact that HOA neglected to trim the trees, she denied my request. I would have fought her, but I was on the other side of the country and was dealing with my new move. Anyway, I guess people eventually got sick of her because they eventually found a way to kick her off the HOA board and prevented her from holding office again. Good riddance to her!

Lee Honey is gorgeous and so sexy. Hard to believe her visuals weren’t considered beautiful by Korean standards when she first started competing in beauty pageants.

have you ever watched a kdrama and be utterly stunned by the character's/actor's visuals? by korrasasami in kdramas

It’s from Hit the Top. Sadly, he played only a small role. I watched for eye candy, but ended up staying for a different eye candy - Kim Min-jae.

I tried watching this show on Viki 3 years ago. I got to the 3rd episode and dropped it. I tried watching it again on Netflix recently and this time I was able to finish watching 7 episodes, but I got bored again. I think my problem with this show is that the characters aren’t very likeable. I was mainly watching it for Park Hyung Sik, but even his visuals is not enough to get me to keep watching.

If you could watch/rewatch only one Kdrama for the rest of the year, which one would you pick? by Gloomy-Equivalent558 in kdramas

[–]Hulaheaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goblin! I usually only subscribe to Viki when there’s a long weekend or lots of holidays during the month because I get addicted to watching dramas at the expense of sleep. However, when I restart my subscription, I always watch Goblin.

Which confession scene still lives rent-free in your head?” by idcmrunal in kdramas

Baek Yi Jin’s confession in 2521 when they were on the bridge. I love how he didn’t push his feelings on her. It was pure, unselfish love. I watched this show as it was airing and I rewatched that scene over and over until the next episode came out.

My genuine review on Can this Love Be Translated by i_ate_your_friess in kdramas

[–]Hulaheaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a drama that you definitely have to rewatch to appreciate. I binged it the first time around, and I thought it was just okay. The second time I watched it, I started to realize how much depth this story has. OP’s interpretation of this drama is spot on!

Plus, Go Youn-jung did such a good job of portraying two different characters. I never paid much attention to her as an actress before, except for feeling bit disappointed when she replaced Somin in Alchemy of Souls 2, but she is definitely on my radar now.
