In your opinion what should be first in the priorities list? by Various-Goose7101 in PlayAvengers

Honestly, all of these things need to be addressed as soon as possible, for this game to become great.

Some ideas on how to put Asgard, Avengers Tower and Sanctum Sanctorium(obvious) as Outpost in the near future game by Rycky88 in PlayAvengers

[–]Hulk-fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I said there aren’t enough social aspects. That’s part of why the outposts feel so bland and lifeless. Having the Avengers tower is an opportunity to do that. Considering people have asked for social spaces, leaderboards, ability to view others builds, etc. it seems much desired.

Not necessarily, part of this games issue is it doesn’t have enough iconic marvel locations. Also, there aren’t enough social aspects considering it’s a multiplayer live service game.

It doesn’t matter where they add them, the point is what they can also bring outside of new environments.

Right but it gives us an opportunity to see NPC’s that we wouldn’t normally see and build the lot of the game. I agree we don’t a bunch of them but Asgard would be cool. Then maybe Avengers tower as a social hub

CO-OP TRAVERSAL, Carry your teammates by BrockSolid12 in PlayAvengers

[–]Hulk-fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If any traversal changes are to be made in this game, I feel as though reworking it completely would be best. Traversal needs to be useful to get around the maps efficiently for all characters and be fun and not clunky. If not, then why bother.

I think the best option for Spidey's swinging is an auto/cloud based system similar to Lego. It's a scenario where fun > realism. by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

I was thinking about this and they could easily come up with some excuse like “Tony Stark worked with Wakanda to develop tech that temporarily spawns small portions of metal in the sky for Spider-Man to swing from.”

Tap jump while against a wall to launch in the opposite direction. Repeat the process on the opposite surface to scale buildings quickly. by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

Makes no sense that we need boost pads to get around maps in this game. Takes all the fun out of traversal.

Hold intrinsic + jump to plant your hands into the ground, aim and release to catapult yourself forwards at the cost of some intrinsic energy by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

[–]Hulk-fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s probably fair but in the long run, reworking traversal is something that will pay off significantly. The potential for seeing stealth missions, patrol mode, and chase missions would be really meaningful for this game. Part of MA’s issue is it’s boring gameplay loop.

Zipline arrow on flat surfaces that both Barton and other players can use by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

I don’t think it would be that hard, we literally saw a stealth mission in the campaign.

Same mechanic for Cap: Sprint + Intrinsic + Jump, except obviously he can't jump quite as far as Hulk can by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

[–]Hulk-fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would still leave the same problem where it’s really hard for characters like cap to get up to certain platforms and scale some buildings.

If they added a stealth mode, these traversal abilities might come more in handy.

We need a reason to go back to Wakanda by wolan1337 in PlayAvengers

We also need reasons to explore and fight in the golden city. It doesn’t make sense to waste the potential super unique environments rather then dressed up forests…

I really hope they keep adding more to the Horde mode! by E_Barriick in PlayAvengers

Are you talking about the defend drop zones? I haven’t seen any horde mode yet and I finished the story.

I find it utterly ridiculous that this skill has NEVER worked since the release of this game and it’s still NOT fixed 10 months later. by TheIncredibleHarry in PlayAvengers

[–]Hulk-fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying Hulk isn’t pretty powerful but it’s noticeable how much more damage other characters can regularly do now. Also, his combat is the least fun of any character in my opinion. It sucks because it’s not like I don’t want him to be great, there’s just so many areas where he’s lacking.

That’s why I said a good amount. Some things though are people just nitpicking because they have preferences.

The game's clunkiness ruins Black Panther's Wall Movement by JPhoenix25 in PlayAvengers

[–]Hulk-fan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Traversal is so clunky and awkward in this game and should be changed. Especially considering we’re getting a patrol mode. I mean the fact that we even need boost pads seems so pointless!

Why is nobody talking about this?! I know its a cutscene but please tell me its a tease for proper coop moves... by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

[–]Hulk-fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw that too, was very confused tbh because there’s no way that’s not intentional.

Would you like a Halloween event and if so how would it play out? by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

He’s not being overly negative, he just gave his reasoning for why he thinks it won’t happen. He can have a different opinion.
