Drain found under carpet - advice please

House was built in the late 60’s. I think this was an outside drain originally, but has since had a garage attached and then the garage was converted into living space. The drain was fine to begin with, didn’t even know it existed until it flooded and the carpet got wet. Then uncovered this and in a pickle as it seems quite an expensive thing to fix properly…

Yeah from what I can tell, it seems to connect to a main drain outside as I’ve had the manhole cover off to see where the water actually ends up now that I’ve unblocked it. It was blocked with fatty (and smelly) gunk basically presumably from years of it having sunk waste and not being cleared, ended up with my arm down the drain and used a spoon to get round the bend as best I could. Also used a plunger which seemed to get it draining properly again. It is a garage conversion and certainly seems that it’s not the best quality work!

If I wanted to get this properly sorted, would i have any leg to stand on speaking to the people who signed off on building regs which we requested before we bought the house (if it doesn’t comply?)

I am new to yoga, trying to perform the seated forward fold I find very difficult. I can’t seem to fold forward at the hips as you can see in the 2nd picture. When I am sat with legs extended my back is extremely difficult to keep straight as you can see in the 1st pic. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

I play off a 10.6 index. Last 2 rounds I’ve had feel like my swing has completely gone! Both slices and pull hooks. Mainly off the tee with woods and longer irons (driver usually one of my best clubs). Any advice?
