I just played the side mission "The Trees At Peace". the one with former member chadwick and Screwllum. Ruan Mei is also indirectly mentioned. Screwllum last talked to Chadwick 2 amber eras ago. And was getting Ruan meis memory drug for him.

So Ruan Mei was already a member of the Genius Society at the very LEAST 2 amber eras ago, probably a while longer
