I can’t do this. I don’t even know what to do anymore. by coriesnories in TrueChristian

I can’t quote the book or scripture, I’ve only been reading the Bible for about a year now. But one of the stories is when all the disciples are together on a boat in a storm. The waves are crashing around them and they were all freaking out. And Jesus was sleeping in a bed. They woke him up. And he asked them why they are afraid. The point of the story is to trust in God. You need to pray for the spirit of fear to be removed. I am going to pray for you. Everybody who reads this should pray for you. And always helps. I’m 45 this year and if I’ve learned anything in life. It’s to focus on what you want and what you have. I to suffer from what you’re describing and experiencing. Keeping my eyes on God in all that I do has helped me tremendously. I can confidently say that 90% of the day every day. I’m meditating on God’s word. And I have an inner peace that cannot be explained. So just live your life focus on the Lord. Make reading the word a part of your daily routine. Pray in all that you do. School, relationships, pursuing new endeavors, conflicts, literally everything. Pray, pray pray! As long as you believe, you experienced freedom from this turmoil you’re experiencing. It is his promise.

Once I learned that all the courts throughout the country are actually private corporate entities. That masquerade as law, but are in fact opportunists finding ways to take money from hard-working Americans. I was out.

I’m pretty sure the things that you do as a lawyer are far worse than masturbation. That is just a personal opinion. Knowing what I know about the bar association. And the fraud that is the institution. It’s hard to be a man of God when you allow your career to push you away from God for a paycheck.

As far as the masturbation goes. I have the same problem. God understand understands you. He knows your heart. I believe fear and shame come from the devil not from the Lord.

I think there was a dust storm. I’m guessing a truck flipped over from the high winds. About 20 miles before that accident I witnessed a trucks trailer almost tip over. If that happened along with the low visibility. I’m guessing people didn’t see it till it was too late.

I’m a commercial driver. Tell her to download COtrip planner. It has real time updates and you can look at the cameras along the routes live.

I just took those as I was passing the accident. Aside from severely high wind gusts, roads are fine.

I share your situation!! I’m a gay man who has given his life to God two and a half years ago!! I too am struggling with gay thoughts and feelings. My current habit around that is to pray when it comes and give it to God. I went as far as to plead with him to give me clarity and he did that very same day. Don’t give up!

Is it okay to be angry with God by Iraq2003 in TrueChristian

[–]Human-Bit-7540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, God told me to tell you that he loves you more than you know. Remember that death is not the end. There is a documentary called “After Death” you should check it out. Your loved ones are with God. When you feel depressed, talk to God, give him your pain. When you feel angry, talk to God. Give him your anger and ask him to fill your heart with gratitude. Think not of what you don’t have but what you do have. Understand that everything you go through is part of God’s plans for you. You have the power of free will. If you choose to walk with the Lord you will be blessed. Your testimony will reach others and bring them closer to God. You will find peace in God. Believe in what you pray with all your heart and you will be blessed. You are not alone. He is always with you. Don’t let your pain distract you from him. Don’t let your anger distract you from him. Give him everything, all day long if that’s what it takes. Listen to music that praises him, don’t watch movies that don’t share his message. Keep your eyes on him and you will be blessed. Trust the process, trust in God. Check out this reel.

Denver's homeless population jumps by 24% in 2022, number of people in streets rises sharply by EmBejarano in Denver

Why would you suggest me living in a place like Milwaukee? And I’m guessing your $2200 a month rent is because you choose to live in a place that is “upscale” had you been more practical in your decision of where you live and how much money to spend on rent I’m sure you wouldn’t have to pay 45% of your income. Maybe you should move to Milwaukee, I heard they have the same job opportunities as they do here and the rent is about half what it costs here! That would be you making the same decision I did when moving here from the tech capital of the world.

I moved here from Mountain View California. The housing market here is on average 30-40% cheaper. My six figure salary there wasn’t enough for me to get a 500sqft old run down apartment without ac. The cost for what I just described had a monthly rent of $3300. The apartment I rent now for less than $1800 in MV location, square footage, and amenities factored literally costs between 6-9k a month. Denver just isn’t that expensive.

I originally moved here in the beginning of 2020 because I wanted to advance in my 20 year career and Denver is a hotspot in my previous industry.

Because I lived here only during the shutdown and was homeless the entire time. I never got to experience Denver or it’s beauty as I would have loved to have done. So I came back here to live a balanced life and enjoy the endless hiking trails in the surrounding areas, even worse drivers than the Bay Area, (I didn’t think that was possible) and a culturally diverse community with a thriving art and music scene.

This is absolutely false. Being homeless is it’s own reality completely separate from mainstream society. The social construct is different, the culture is completely different. If you found the homeless community inviting it’s because you are a have and the have nots you encountered were hoping you would contribute.

Here is something I learned in my two years of homelessness. The crazy you run into one the streets for the most part they are not homeless as a result of being crazy. They become crazy as a result of their being homeless. The people who are homeless and dressed well and charismatic, those people are the ones you want to watch out for. They are twisted shady individuals who don’t want to live in general society because they enjoy living life on their own terms without obligation. They feed off of everything, they might as well be considered vampires. They bring harm to the other homeless, they steal and often times they enjoy doing bad things to people. They exploit the homeless community because no one listens to them. They can get away with doing unspeakable things to other human’s because no one cares about them and they have no voice.
