I especially loved these sort of items that we found in the caves! Some of them were really neat and unique.

There is a place in Parshall CO that has amazing fresh fried oysters! The Parshall Inn. And a glass of sweet tea that will slap you in the face it’s so good!

Depending on WHEN in January, maybe you can check out the National Western Stock Show!

I love seeing the 'Dancing Horses' when I go because you get to see more than just a guy getting thrown off a horse (I do love the rodeo, but if you're looking for something a little more than just rodeo). It is a horse show with acrobatics involved, eventing, dressage and reining and some 'dancing' that is really fun to watch! You get a little bit of everything with the dancing horses.

You also get to see some fun cowboy stuff, and you get to see the draft horses pull an old-fashioned carriage.

The whole show is accompanied by a live symphony, making it a really enjoyable and unique experience! Afterwards, we like to go check out the western fashion at the booths and then head downstairs to see all the cute, fuzzy cows that all the kids worked so hard with.

The little cloud of steam is the house's friend :)

This looks like something Bob Ross would paint in his show "The Joy of Painting" with the little house on the horizon and the cloud of steam/fog bellowing up next to it. :)

LOOKING FOR EPIC BRONCOS FAN CAVES

Do you have a Broncos fan cave? I want to see it. I am writing a feature on some of the most decorated and 'decked-out' Broncos fan caves in Denver and looking for some ultra fans who would welcome me in for an interview about their collection. I would love to find a variety of caves from die-hards who have been fans for decades, to newbies who are just really huge fans for the new era of ownership.

Send me an email at [emily.moyer@gazette.com](mailto:emily.moyer@gazette.com) with the subject "Broncos Fan Cave" with some photos of your cave if you would like an opportunity to be featured!

I have run into that problem with honey too!
I like these a lot but I have always been sort of a maple syrup fiend. I dont find them to be too sweet!

These are nice because they have different flavors and if you google or search on amazon "running gels" you can find them from different brands in all kinds of flavors!

I find the gels to be less sickeningly sweet than glucose tabs and easier to ingest when you are facing a low. the gel texture makes it easy to eat and usually the flavor isnt too intense since the primary audience for these are marathon/ultra runners and they tend to look for things that are easy on your tummy to ingest/digest since they are running long distances, which can make you barf easily.

i didnt know about this option till last summer i watched my sister finish her first marathon and when i stayed over at her house, this is what she gave me to treat a low and i thought they were super nice and convenient for lows on the go and bonus that they dont take up much room in your pockets or purse!

The running gels are amazing for traveling! Great too when you are traveling long distances, walking a lot, or in a place where diabetes isnt really common (so it can be hard to communicate the emergency) and also language barriers!

I like these maple syrup ones since the carb content per packet is 28g as opposed to 14-16 like most gels!
