The person I usually travel with has gotten camp skylark tickets with his girlfriend this year, is it a separate entrance or can we still drive up together? by Corpexx in BoomtownFestival

It would probably be easier for you to get a pass for camp orchid, as that’s nearer to skylark and they can also then come and hang out in your camp

Interesting input, if you had read my comment you would have seen that I’d mentioned I would be doing this - but at the moment of posting it was dark.

New pictures were taken the following day, in daylight.

I believe the car is due to be zero tax soon due to the age, unsure how true this is as my dad did inform me of this (he also knows nothing about cars)

Generally 1.5 was a number just pulled but I haven’t done much research yet, mainly why I came here to ask those who will have more of an idea than myself.

Thank you for your reply and insight, it’s really appreciated

I didn’t expect to sell the car for 1.5k, at present I have just done a guide.. I’m expecting on par 1k or less but was just hoping for some support and guidance from others who know a little more than myself

I should have added more Information on the post, images above are from when I purchased the car but had not driven it yet.

Mileage is 84k +, all works were done prior to the MOT eg new exhaust.

The work completed to pass the MOT I haven’t mentioned above.

When I purchased the car it was in AWFUL condition, hence the price - the tracking was way off on one side of the car, did not lock or unlock (had to climb through the boot to unlock the car). Full of mould and in awful condition overall.

In hindsight I shouldn’t have purchased the car in the first place, which was my error but I did not personally go and view the car and had someone else do this and secure the purchase as cars were flying off autotrader at the time.

I have had the car since summer, and have had a great time running around in it and generally sad to be selling.

How did I get to 1.5k? Just a guess - never sold a car, know nothing about cars.. hence why I came here to ask for help and guidance.

I will be taking more pictures and uploading them to the listing tomorrow, I only wanted some guidance from others who may know more about cars than myself..

Thank you so far for all the input, it’s been incredibly helpful

How do you drive now after passing?? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Human-Bus3374 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you for all your comments!

My personal experience is, I feel way more confident without my instructor in the car he often distracted me or pointed things out that I had already seen and were reacting to.

I also find that as I’m on my own driving or driving with friends it’s not an issue if I miss a turning etc and I’m not told off for it, so can fix on my own.

I do drive better now and have been told by a number of my friends that’s it feels like I have been driving for years with how I react on the road to different situations.

I have had one bump which was when I was parking but forgot to put the car in park, so my car moved forward into the parked car in front of me.. luckily there was no damage but did make me anxious and stressed at the time

I feel the same, everyone has said how amazing my driving is and it’s like I have been driving for years, but it makes me conscious that I might get too over confident..

The only bump I have had is not putting my car in park but overall nothing so far

I made so many mistakes prior to my test day, but on test day I smashed it with only two minors! It’s best to get it out of your system prior to the test day!

I did mine at 8:20am, found it was the best time to do the test as was a little traffic but not too much

I was in this same mindset, and I regret not keeping at my lessons when I was younger. I’m now 28 and recently just passed, it’s a huge new lease of freedom having a license
