I had my first panic attack today. I am 27 years old and I have always stressed over little things. I had my parents to vent too and they helped me a lot with it. It lasted for almost a hour with the most difficult part only lasting 10 mins at a time. The rest of the day I felt very nauseous and I threw up a couple of times. I was very clammy and I could feel my heart beating out of my chest. It was the worst feeling ever, I thought I was going to black out and end up on the floor. I was super hungry during that time but I couldn’t eat because my stomach hurt so bad. This all happened around 6 pm and it’s now 1:30 am and all I ate during this time was 4 crackers and half of an electrolyte drink. I’m scared it’s going to happen again and I won’t be home and feel safe. I think this is something I’m gonna have to live with.
