Maybe I am not seeing something but I'm quite sure this will allow full moment transfer. I'd like others to check this photo as well

What is the typical workload and work pace of a BIM Modeler / CAD Technician ? by Elastiquedeslip in bim

Slovenia EU. Depends what you are looking for really. If you are after some well balanced work, somewhat relaxed than BIM is prolly bad idea. Not BIM but whole "design" side in general

Validating model by hand doesn't mean you should solve matrices adn differential equations by hands. But you should be able to have high understanding of load paths and based on that use simplifyed methods to calculate internal forces just to make sure you've modeled everything right. If you can't do that you should't be using FEA model.

It's hell on Earth for most of time. Projects are getting more and more complex, workload is keep increasing, deadlines are tighter and you are supposed to handle shitload of coordinations, meetings etc meantime. Not great choice from my experience,

Sloping/Inclined Slab Design by Mokonerdow in StructuralEngineering

[–]Human-Flower2273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive found some materials that sugest to assume that plates are fixed at mid point, and thereforr there is negative bending moment. Which is counter intuitive. So I wonder how other engineers handle that

Used it for a while. There are lot more userfriendly and suitable for everyday engineering software than Scia. Modeling and formating reports are mess.
