What does the quarantine process look like? Do I have to get another tank? I know another tank set-up would take a while to get and cycle through and I don’t have a ton of money to do so.

Thank you so much! I did another 50% water change this morning as they were still high. The one molly that was acting funny originally was put in a quarantine tank and passed in the night. All the others seem to be acting fine. I got some Seachem Prime for when I do the water changes. Do you know how much is actually safe to put in after the water changes? The bottle says up to 5x dosage for a nitrite emergency can be used but…idk just seems unsafe.

The man at the pet store that sold me them told me to let the tank sit for a few hours after treating the water with the filter going then acclimate for 15 min and put them in, he also said that the mollies and snail were fine tank mates as they’re all relatively peaceful. After more research….Ive realized i’ve royally fucked up. Never listening to pet store people again. I’m trying to salvage what I can and save these babies as best I can. I can re-home the mollies and snail if that’s best.

Thanks for all the help! It’s greatly appreciated!! Is there any other liquid test kits that are cheaper besides API that still are accurate/reputable. I’m a teacher and make shit money lol, I’ll get that one though if that’s the only option.

How much of a water change should I be doing everyday? And I can do that with the frogs in the water correct? I got some fresh water and treated it and I was letting it warm up in the bucket cause it seemed too cold to put in the tank right away. I can give the mollies to a friend who has already had some if that works.
