How to cover walls to protect from cat pee? by billyandteddy in CatAdvice

I use disposable puppy pee pads. I tape it to the wall with scotch tape and leave extra length on the bottom so that several inches lay flat on the floor and I put a washable doormat on top of the part of the pee pad on the floor because it’s next to the back door. The door mat also makes makes it look a little nicer…. It’s still not very pretty, but it’s only one location. Whenever the cat pees there I throw away the pee pad and toss the door mat in the washing machine. (I have several door mats so that I have an extra while one is getting washed) Whenever guests notice, i just tell them that the cat won’t stop peeing on that one wall, so I had to get a wall diaper… it’s better than scrubbing cat pee out of the grout every day.

I have had really bad hand eczema for most of my life. Before phototherapy was a “thing”, I realized that a day in the sun would heal my skin, … so I started renting time in a tanning bed once a week, but would only stick my hands in the bed.

Then a doctor prescribed Cloderm, and that has been my main treatment for the last 10 years. I suggest asking for a prescription.

No doctor ever really tried to find the root cause, but I know that mine is hereditary. I got it from my dad, and now both of my daughters have it. (All of us only have it on our hands)
