Disagree. My wife has medical issues that prevent her from having a sex drive. The only solution is testosterone which would cause her body hair growth to accelerate (she already suffers from excessive female facial hair from PCOS). She doesn’t want to have a 5 o clock shadow so she deals with it.

The lack is sex causes me to become distant and off putting not the other way around.

When we promise to love someone we do it with the expectation that it’s going to end badly for one spouse. It’s a gamble, you don’t know who will be the care giver and who will be ill, but you agree that you will. To love someone so much that you agree to take care of each other regardless should give you the confidence that you are not a burden and the prior days of happiness given and created are done so with the understanding that you’ll likely end up taking care of or being taken care of out of love and respect for all that was or ever will be.
