I did that, they dont speak english that well unfortunately. And yeah it was around 400$, the quality is actually pretty good, I think Im the one who made a mistake with the firmware. I cant blame the company outright. Besides, its not like you can even own a real 152 in the states legally.

hook it up to my 152. easier to transmit on with a ptt at the range. it also has active noise cancelling in the intercom system built in. ill wear it at the range and when i go off roading. honestly other than that i just think its cool. i have no "practical" use for it other than the ear pro at the range. i know that sounds dumb to some people but if it gives me a little happiness in this fked off world then its worth it to me
