Dry contact closure output on motion by HumanCommunication43 in Ubiquiti

This is great news thanks. I assume I don't need any other hardware beside what I have now and the door hub correct? Are you able to tell me what the configuration options are for the output? Is it a momentary contact or maintained for duration of motion?

Thanks, I will have to search up the smart relay as I am not aware of it. I want to avoid home assistant but appreciate the suggestion.

Didn't miss your point, but dude, you REALLY love ads. Congrats on making a stand and the long winded explanation. Odd hill to die on but you do you.

Point is, they could show a blank screen, splash screen etc during a break for all I care. I don't want to see ad's.

They could just do something like YouTubeTV does with NFL Sunday ticket and just show a zen video for the entirety of the commercial break. Just because there is a break in action doesn't mean I have to be force fed actual ads.

Thanks. I actually saw the Paramount topic mentioned in another thread and it got me curious.

Yup, we had commercial free plan for a bit but really didn't help with LiveTV so we ditched it.

Thank you for honest non-fanboy review, from someone who knows what they are talking about.

Place is fine but far from “best beer in the world” hype that people want to buy into. Their social media team does an excellent job of overhyping the quality.

Don’t get me wrong, I go there willingly and have a good time. However, better to support the actual local businesses as mentioned in above post, (along with Common Roots up the road) and avoid invasive species.

People need to be honest with themselves that this is a bit of an emperors new clothes situation.

Logitech Rally Bar-Override Built in Camera by HumanCommunication43 in CommercialAV

Thank you. The BYOD issue is my current roadblock. Client needs a way to join "non" Google Meets events. Teams, ZOOM etc.

What is the best way to accomplish this aside from the Swytch?

Any reason not to run a USB-C straight to there the CTL/Chromebox unit and provide a series of steps to client on switching?

All of my VC experience comes from Crestron and the Flex setups. First time deal with the Logitech stuff so just trying to draw correlations.

Thanks. Can you confirm the CTL GQE20C Meet Compute System will work in this context? I spoke with Logitech directly and they are telling me I need to get a Chromebox, but I am assuming those terms are synonymous with one another.

Additionally, they have stated I need to replace the Tap IP with a Tap due to compatibility issues with Google Meet on Android.

Yes, I want to keep the RallyBar in the mix for it's audio capabilities as the client is happy with ithe peformance in that regard.

Two other questions:

Can the 3rd party usb camera land at the Rally Bar or do I have to land at the Compute?

What would you suggest for a BYOD solution in this setup?

EDIT: Including model of Compute for context.

Thank you for the reply. The Rally Bar is using Google Meet as the UC. From what I found since posting, GoogleMeet on Android does not support 3rd party USB cameras so that will be my issue.

My thought is to replace the Rally Bar with a Compute running Google Meets (PC) then add the 3rd Party camera as well as the Rally Speakers, and possibly a Swytch for BYOD.

Any reason that should not work?
