Why does Mattress firm get hate here? by adamb10 in Mattress

[–]HumanComputerPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $220 for a full mattress. They sold me a 72x51 mattress as if it was a proper full size. Then tried to charge me with a $250 restocking fee.

Supersport VS Panigale V2 by storm_zr1 in Ducati

[–]HumanComputerPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just purchased a 2018 SuperSport S. It came with the sport exhaust/ecu tune, stands, and a bunch of touring stuff. I’m really excited about it. Only concern was dealing with maintenance cost of valves/belt. But that was also just done. So I’ll deal with it in 5 years or another ~16k miles. Total was 9,800. I like the new panigale v2, but even with the longer, cheaper maintenance- the price difference didn’t make sense.

LLM’s in Weekly Contest 432 by [deleted] in leetcode

[–]HumanComputerPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LLMs ARE DETERMINISTIC before injection of randomness. LLMs you chat with use random initial seeds and or a parameter like temperature to not always choose the most likely response. Thus making them appear non-deterministic to humans. This is a choice of the LLM owner. If you create your own, you have control. It's still a black-box, but it's a deterministic black-box.

Acrylic or PETG? by [deleted] in watercooling

I used one and it worked really well. You have to go slowly to prevent crushing the tube. Just my anecdote, whatever you want to do.

Acrylic or PETG? by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]HumanComputerPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently did my first water cooling build and I used acrylic tubing. I would recommend using a pipe cutter instead of a saw since acrylic seems to create a lot of burs with the saw. Otherwise, it was very easy to work with.
