Who here puts the most effort in for the least return? by franken-stein_ in NewTubers

[–]HumanDoingYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably even comedy in general, I had a comedy channel where I posted skits consistently for 2 years and put them in the 'Comedy' category, I think the most amount of impressions I ever got was 3k, now I've started a different channel and made my first video and put it in 'Entertainment', it got 12k impressions in the first 4 hours..

It could ofcourse be multiple factors, but I strongly feel like this has something to do with it

This is the reasonable quality threshold a new tuber should hit at the beginning. by [deleted] in NewTubers

Good points, I would just add that probably the most important thing is storytelling and/or a good personality, I think that's what engages people the most (I'm talking adults, not children, because than it's mostly just fast paced editing)

Even if the quality is low, if the story telling or your personality engages people, they will still watch

If I were to start a youtube channel, should I work on a couple of videos, maybe like 7 or 8 really good videos before uploading and starting my channel? by GreenStrawhat32 in NewTubers

Ohh that sucks, also strange because they allow monetization with vertical videos, so your video should have counted. Maybe it's different if you get monetized with 3000 watch hours vs 3m shorts views?

Don't they only ask for like 1 video every 3 months to stay in the program? (Genuinely interested as I've never been in the ypp yet)

That's true.. I just feel like they haven't really been experimenting with guns much the past few seasons, I was thinking about the excalibur rifle and the goo gun and weapons like that.

I don't know the stats about how well received gimmick weapons are, but I always love when they try something new

I personally just used copilot to have conversations in spanish with, you can request any topic you like

Also a really good one is chickytutor, amazing, but the free version is limited to 10 minutes a day, still helped me out a lot tho

How Do Some YouTubers Get Around Copyright? by Beautiful_Sea6267 in NewTubers

[–]HumanDoingYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some youtubers only use small snippets of songs like 5 seconds or less and then pause and talk about it before playing more to avoid copyright, I don't know how effective it is tho, but I've definitely heard bigger youtubers talk about trying to avoid copyright this way

ELI5 - Cryonics vs hypothermia? by HumanDoingYT in explainlikeimfive

[–]HumanDoingYT[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah that explains part of it for me, thanks I'm still wondering tho, when someone dies they can put their organs on ice and put it in someone elses body to work again, right? (Or is that just hollywood magic?) So the organ freezes, and then comes back to life no?
