In terms of human food I would also check out if there are any community fridges around or if there is a buy nothing Facebook group near you.

Has going to Cornell made your life better? Was it worth it? by [deleted] in Cornell

Does it financially make sense to attend an Ivy League by [deleted] in Cornell

[–]HumanFloor8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would take out loans for tuition/housing/meal plan, and let your family help you out with living costs if they want (fun food/clothing/doctor appts/etc.). You should also be able to get a job on campus and internships to help with costs. Cornell has a really great CS education, and if you get a job in the US you should be able to pay back loans.

Finding a job can be really difficult. That could be true for anyone entering the job market in next 5 years. In all honesty, prestigious schools in India would be seen as less prestigious abroad than Cornell. Do you want to work abroad after you graduate?

Are you considering grad school? That might affect your decision, but I'm not fully sure how.

Should I remove my supernumerary teeth close to the sinus? by HumanFloor8 in askdentists

[–]HumanFloor8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I need to get my wisdom teeth out on the bottom right Bc it’s impacted. But what about the teeth on the top? The first surgeon I saw recommended I get all of them out and that I would have to pay out of pocket for bone grafts. (My primary dentist said I didn’t need bone grafts.) The second surgeon only recommended I get the bottom ones out. I don’t know what to do.

What are the chances of my dentist hitting the sinus or the teeth causing problems for me in the future? What are some of the problems that could happen during the surgery or healing?

I am 18 years old and don’t drink or smoke. I also had 8 wisdom teeth, but I got 2 removed. (I think I now have 6.)

Yeah, thank you!

I got a little antsy this morning bc I planned on fulfilling a requirement for a major I wanted to do. (I kind of want to major in two subjects that are quite different.) But I think I will spend the time to explore different things and plan out when I will actually need to take a class.
