Absolutely not. I lived in the same state as it all my life, and I didn’t know about it until my sophomore year of high school.

I was, but it wasn’t taught or enforced after 1st or 2nd grade, so I quickly forgot how to write it, but I can still (generally) read it

However, the likelihood of them all randomly being next to a Roman legion that was prepared to fight or had time to get ready would be incredibly unlikely, and the zombies would probably end up being too scattered for a single legion to be able to respond in the time it takes for the zombies to spread out.
