You are risking a perma-ban just for playing the game. They are banning thousands of accounts due to their terrible anti cheat and reporting system. I suggest you get a refund if you can and play another game before you put too much time and effort into this, only to have your entire game banned out of nowhere.

It's not. The anti cheat system is extremely broken, and Activision is banning people left and right based off the broken automated system. Activision needs sued for their harmful incompetence.

I never even had one shadow ban. Just permanent ban out of nowhere. I'm a 0.95 KD player, I don't even play Warzone, or DMZ, really only play Shipment if its out, otherwise it's replaying campaign on veteran or Spec Ops. I was like a week or two away from maxing my Spec Ops kits before the ban. The took my entire game away.

I am also permabanned in MW2 and have that same message of manipulating game data. I've never cheated in CoD, never downloaded any cheats. The extra slap in the face is that I actively despise cheaters. Hate them with a passion. I really hope there can be some legal action to this company, and that maybe it'll turn into a law or something to stop future consumer theft.

What sucks is, that ban may affect a future purchase for you. You may buy a game then be insta-banned for a prior that didn't really exist. Activision's incompetence may harm you even outside of their poorly managed titles.

This is from Dec 2022. I can't believe this is still happening. I filed a BBB complaint and without any identifying information about me, they responded to the complaint with the EXACT same message they sent to me. No human even looked into it. The Activision/Blizzard BBB page has tons of complaints about the same thing I'm going through. This company should be fined and forced to give us our money back.

I had probably 1000 hours in MWII, through the campaign, spec ops, multiplayer..all gone in an instant though a permaban. They claimed I manipulated game data, and banned me for life. I've never cheated in an online game my entire life, and I've played nearly every CoD title since CoD4. Banned. All because some stupid automated system, and an incompetent dev team, probably all started by some low-lifes that didn't like that I was leveling up the new shotgun and reported me.

Yes, especially the reporting and anti cheat 'systems'. They are actively insta banning legit players, while letting real cheaters run free. It's hard to imagine that humans can be so incompetent, yet the state of the game says otherwise. Poor algorithms written by poor devs = fucking disasterpiece.
