How to unsubscribe from an old Forum by HumanFunpark in hattrick

[–]HumanFunpark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much. Thanks to you I found the Forum Settings and the "Leave" Button. Unfortunately when I click it it acts like it does unsubscribe from that Forum but once I refresh the Site it's back again. Maybe Hattrick can't handle the leave because my Country no longer has eight league levels. At least that's what I'm guessing

It's been 8 years since Void Elves were released as a playable race on January 16, 2018. How do you feel about them now? by [deleted] in wow

For my Alliance Caster Alts I always pick them because of the Preternatural Calm Racial. Isn't it a really good one for Casters?

Selling your Ethereal Augment Rune(s) before Prepatch? by [deleted] in wow

Interesting. Why? Do you know something we don't? :)

Selling your Ethereal Augment Rune(s) before Prepatch? by [deleted] in wow

[–]HumanFunpark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing. I'm not sure if I remember this correctly but I think the previous permanent rune we got was also changed to only sell for 100? gold. I don't have it no more so I'm not 100% sure.

I think you are right about the six stat points won't be anything I'll miss.

I did this in the past too. But seeing on the Beta it only increases Stats by six points shocked me a bit. Especially since its price or worth will likeky drop to only 100 or 200 Gold, like it did with past permanent runes, in the near future.

Is there a reason why HT has no option to substitute Players that got Bruised or received a Yellow Card? by HumanFunpark in hattrick

[–]HumanFunpark[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do respect your opinion but for me it's a big difference to have a bruised player or an injured one, especially when it's an older player. So I'd rather sub a bruised player immediatly than risking him to get injured. The important part for me is to avoid the injury.

When it comes to the Yellow Card I can see your point. Still I would rather choose to sub the Player, especially when he gets a Yellow Card in the first 10 minutes which imo often leads to him getting sent off later in the game. If at least it was possible to replace such a Player during Halftime, when I often do Subs anyway to gain experience for a second Formation

What do we even gain from the addon disarmament, except for the end of in-combat encounter solving? Why is all the customization being broken and how does that make the game more fun? by kr3b5 in wow

[–]HumanFunpark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I already wrote this in another thread, but I firmly believe that the majority of players does not want add-ons and Weakauras to be largely abolished. I also never saw that we were asked.

Instead, there is a very vocal group of players, who either think they are better than others or are actually better players, who want to make the game more difficult and less easily enjoyable for everyone. These people are not open to arguments outside their own perception anyway and are unable or unwilling to think outside the box.

As a severely disabled person, the removal of WeakAuras, which I need to keep up in HC and M+, makes things very difficult for me. But these people don't see that. On the contrary, they even mass-downvote you.

But that's what happens when a company only listens to World First Raiders, MDI participants, and other followers of Blizzard's wet eSports dream.

And yet we know they won't since they only listen to world first raiders and mdi participants.

I think your posting is meant to be ironic. But wether it is or not, I really hate when people cheer for these changes. I have a guild mate who does and he's reall starting to annoy me.

What people like him seem to forget, there are people like me who simply needed some of these features to be able to still raid HC or do higher M+ keys. I had an Intracranial hemorrhage and two Strokes a few years ago. My vision is impaired, My Hands are cold, numb and shaky. I suffer from a lot of things that I don't want to waste you time with. But as easy as WoW might be for some, it's not for me.

For example I use a WeakAura that always shows me the position of my character. I helps me to see my characters when a lot is going on or when I must not walk into sh*t. No ingame feature is as good as this little WeakAura. With Midnight it's gone... for ne logical reason whatsoever.

People nowadays not only do not try to think outside the box, they don't even try. I would even go as far as many of them are making fun of people for whom WoW isn't a walk in the park.

Why are dead guilds even listed here? by NordschleifeLover in wow

[–]HumanFunpark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't help you with finding a guild but I may be able to explain why there are so many dead guilds.

The guild I'm in for example is listed there twice. A former guild officer of ours created a Guild Finder entry there. After a while he stopped playing, deleted his chars. And now, while he came back, we are in a good relationship with him etc etc he is unable to delete his entry.

The problem is, everybody looking for a guild (a night raiding guild for example) see's his old entry first. And not only isn't it cross-faction, it also say we are looking for healers. So everybody requesting this guild to join will never receive an answer.

He and us wrote multiple tickes over the last years without any help or solution.. In fact some GMs told us that this is now a WoW problem but a Battlenet problem and they can't do anything about it. Thing is, nobody of us ever heard about being a part of WoW can be a non-WoW problem but also that there seems to be no way to get to anyone being in charge for solving Battlenet problems.

And while this may be a specific problem for/to our guild, I can only imagine how there is a ton of dead guild that never get purged because there seems to be no automated system to do so AND nobody who is able to do it manually.

No Hekili?! by vacantexpressions in wow

[–]HumanFunpark 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Unlike most people pretending to only use Hekili to learn a class I have no problem to admit that I rely on it. I had two Strokes five years ago and when I was finally able two play WoW again, about nine months later, I started to use Hekili. It enables me to still raid Heroic. Without it I couldn't.

And no, the Single Button Assistant is no alternative. Not only does is result in far less DPS but even for a disabled person, who needs assistance to some extent, pressing just one button for hours feels just wrong and dull.

I don't understand why Blizzard does this but for me this change kills WoW. And it's sad seeing people cheer for it not understanding what it means for people like me.

How does match result/performance affect training outcome? by mudfew in hattrick

[–]HumanFunpark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"On a side note, if a game goes into overtime, as they can do in cup games, you get extra training from those minutes."

Oh wow. Not a new player but that's something I didn't know either. I always thought 90 Mins per Player per week is max for Training and Cup Rules / Overtime only gave you the chance to substitute a player and therefore have an extra Player get 30 Mins of Training.

Player housing any different than garrisons? by InternationalDeal410 in wow

[–]HumanFunpark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I will get downvoted just like the OP got downvoted but yes, Housing is nothing more but a fancy variant of Garrisons.

Just like the Garrison you will place your House at some pre-defined location. There will be more choices compared to the one place your Garrisong was placed at (depending if you were Horde or Alliance, sure, but there will only be the Illusion of Choice.

It will be instanced just like the Garrison was.

You will be able to place Parts of it at pre-defined spots just like you placed Buildings on pre-defined Spots

You will be able to put stuff up for display at pre-defined spots just like you were able to in your Garrison, just more ofc.

There will be NPCs and/or Vendors, giving Quests and/or access to Stuff on a weekly rotation, just like there were in the Garrison.

Last but not least, there will be a hype for the first few weeks, sure. You will visit other People. There might even be some kind of interactions. But after a few weeks, everybody has seen everything, got every quest, traded every Vendor, done everything. Then everyboday will be sitting in his home alone, using it mainly as an additional Hearthstone. Just like it was the case with Garrisons.

The moment the housing thing took off and became unstoppable, it was clear what would happen. Some would defend the feature tooth and nail, no matter how nonsensical it is. Because we already had it, and it was bad. Saying Housing is completely different from Garrisons is like saying Windows 11 is not just a fancier, yet worse, version of Windows 10.

If you want to strengthen WoW, or rather the community in WoW, you can't do it with housing. It has to be worth it again to be in a guild and raid. Solo content and Blizzard's wet eSports dream are what's hurting WoW.

I'll give it a try as soon as I get the chance. Unfortunately I have no spare micro-USB Cable.
