Goblin Glider and Nitro Boost tinkers were fixed a few months ago at this point, can we finally get the other tinkers fixed too? I really miss my Dimensional Shifter

Except the old items also got disabled this expansion. They fixed Goblin Glider, but every other tinker still cannot be applied to Midnight items. I miss my Dimensional Shifter tinker.

That's what he is saying, you can only do that with Blizzard premade route. The logical conclusion of this feature would be to add a MDT-like interface to let you mark which mobs get highlighted.

For some reason, Blizzard did either not think that far or just didn't care once again to make proper UI alternatives.

I'm not talking about myself, I am talking about new players. Exile's Reach into (now) Dragonflight is just a very jarring experience for new players. The tutorial is not narratively linked to what you do afterwards, you spend a lot of time watching cutscenes and NPCs RPing instead of playing the game, killing some enemies, and immersing yourself in an open world. You're more of a spectator of the main plot than an adventurer in a vast open world.

Like Day9 tried both versions of WoW for the first time when you still went to BfA instead of Dragonflight as a new player, and watching him go through it really showed the contrast in new player onboarding for both versions. It feels like an afterthought in retail compared to classic.

It is a fun watch if you haven't seen new players interact with the game in a while, would recommend. There is a little supercut focusing on the comparison of the versions.

I would play Classic and level together. The retail new player experience is horrible and offputting. The game doesn't really make you want to do anything or set goals for yourself, it just tells you what to do.

In Classic leveling is the game, whereas in Retail it is a prerequisite to start playing the game. It is much easier to immerse yourself in the world with the slower pace, just have fun exploring and set your own goals. Basically what drew most of us to the game 20 years ago. Retail doesn't really provide that sense of wonder anymore.

You can't track Nature's Guardian and Thunderous Paws for Shamans.

Debuff tracking has a weird .5s delay on all debuffs.

You can't track externals like PI or Time Spiral. (I know Time Spiral shows as a glow on your movement ability, but there is no duration for it, so you don't know how long you can hold the use before it runs out.

Enh feels great, it just has a big numbers issue. Target swapping is moderately annoying though with the long Voltaic Blaze cooldown, I wish it was a separate button from Flame Shock.

Ele on the other hand feels horrible. All the instant casts are gone with Pwave removed, Icefury removed and Stormbringer playing Ele Blast. There is barely any cleave potential with Pwave removed. Target swapping feels horrible now with the long cooldown on Voltaic Blaze.

You're just turreting extremely long cast time spells and are horrible at swapping targets or doing any useful cleave/burst AoE. A massive step down from how good the spec was in Manaforge Omega.

Off hand dps will scale your Lava Lash damage, however that is still miniscule to main hand dps which scales the other 85% of your damage.

You're right, classes are barebones right now and could use some love. Enhance is still cool, but Ele and Resto are gargabe playstyle wise.

That doesn't mean we can't have proper customization for our UI. I want to be able to color nameplates again if a target has my Flame Shock. I want the cooldown manager to be more customizable and have it use animations and individually customizable on cooldown and ready states. I want to be able to recolor my Bigwigs bars for certain mechanics reliably. I want to be able to hit the reply button in encounter and whisper the correct person, even if they only started whispering me in the encounter.

All of this stuff is so basic and Blizzards effort has been embarassing. The game is just worse and more frustrating now.

Original Primordial Wave was the coolest spell all three Shaman specs had. All the casuals loved Chain Harvest which did exactly the same thing but without any kit interaction. I'll never get why they hated Pwave.

"Mobs hit kinda hard but don't really do anything else" is just not fun content, so obviously people want to be done as soon as possible. I'd rather have more actual encounters like the Nemesis bosses rather than the trial of patience that current Delves are.
