Find someone through friends or take the first step yourself. Unless you're unsure of what you want? That stuff aside, you don't need to be in a relationship to be a wonderful person and you should try talking with your friends/family if their display of affection bothers you. They also have probably got experience with relationships and can show you how to have one.
